i wanted to say thank you to everyone here. My family and I went from 12/21-27, going in the parks on 12/22-26. Because of everyone’s advice here, we were able to do everything we wanted and more! I am by no means a vet in any Disney park. I’ve gone to DL 5 years prior, WDW 2.5 years ago and TDL in March so I’m only up to date when I start researching. I got a lot of help and advice here so thanks everyone!
Just a brief review, I absolutely love GCH and think it was a splurge worth making. We got a nicely located room in between the main entrance and Napa Rose elavator.
I love DL for proximity! So easy to RD, and Maxpass was amazing. Even if my 4 year old did not ride the large rides/mountains, it was still worth it! Definitely look forward to the next time when he will be more open to riding things. He seemed more afraid of everything this trip compared to when he was 2.5 and 3.5!
I also loved all the snacks I had! Festival of Holidays was good, especially the Braised Pork Belly Adobo! We had 4 of these! I tried the Ambush too from tropical hideaway and I loved it. We also did Plaza Inn for parade package, I’m minority here but I did not enjoy the food. We also did the breakfast character meal, food was meh but characters were great! We met 10 characters on Christmas Day! Told my DH this is not normal and we got lucky! We did Storytellers this morning before leaving for the airport and I liked the food, we got the banana foster French toast! Was yummy! There was more variety too and I liked that.
Overall, I loved it and would go back in a heartbeat if I had a chance. Again, thanks everyone!
