i owe an appolegy to a fairy godmother in training. we brought my granddaughter in for her long awaited make-over. while she was getting her hair done the time came to select the hair piece that she wanted. she selected pink hair!!! i tried to get her to accept another more natural color but she would not. i felt as tho the fairy godmother should not have agreed to pink and later made some remark about that. i was so very wrong! the fairy godmother did exactly as she was supposed to do. the day belonged to the princess and it was her wish not mine. i felt so bad because i remarked to the cm's working at bibbity bobbity boo that i did not think pink hair was appropriate for a little girl and that it did not look good. after we left and went into the park we saw several other princesses come out with pink hair also. boy how wronge a grandmother can be! i will never make that mistake again.
