This was our first family trip. We had such a great time. We can't wait to go back. We have 2 boys ages 3.5 & 5.5 who we surprised with the trip. Both sets of grandparents also went which was great and not so great at times. I was a bit overwhelmed during the planning process. I got so many great ideas & reviews from these boards I just wanted to say thank you & offer my help to anyone if you have any questions.

We stayed at The Caribbean Beach Resort. We were very happy with everything there. We'd definitely stay there again.

We ordered groceries from Goodings to be delivered to the resort. It was a bit confusing, but we'd do it again...definitely worth the effort.

We had the meal plan and we ate at Shutters, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Flame Tree BBQ, Cosmic Rays, Chef Mickey's (breakfast) & Ohana.

So if you had any questions about anything I'd be happy to answer them. Thanks again to eveyone. I got great tips on everything from how to pack to where to stay & eat. My husband, my parents & in-laws kept raving about all the planning I did. I thought maybe I was being a bit too anal about planning, but it really payed off.

So happy to hear that you had a great time! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc Do post again, please, and tell us all about your family adventure! Love to hear about the restaurants, what the kids liked, and, yes, about the good and the not-so-good of parents and in-laws at Disney! ;)

If you had it to do all over again, what would you do differently???

Yes, please - my FIL and SIL may or may not be joining us, so I'd like to know how much of a PITA that was!

We've had trips to WDW with 14 other family members, 9 other family members, just my inlaws, and just my mom. The number one rule is to not expect to do everything together! That even includes when it was just my mom and me and my two girls. I think of it this way - at home you don't travel around from room to room together 100% of the day, do you? :rotfl: Why should you do that on vacation?

its much harder when you have the inlaws involved.. they want to do things there way.. they don't care as much to chase characters... they hate long lines.. I could go on and on and on!!!!!!!!

Glad you had a great time! Our first family trip to WDW was when my DSs were 3 and 5 and I will NEVER forget how much they enjoyed it. Alas, they are now in their 20s and getting married but I will NEVER forget the wonderful family times we shared at WDW.
