Hey DISguys & DISgirls, I need to apologize.

I was so excited about being given a Quest Kiosk on New Year's Eve by staff. But it was not something I could share with anyone in real life... nobody else "gets VMK" at all like you guys, and they think VMK is just silly. Then, several hours later, I got horrible real life news that a friend had died. I then took another post *completely* the wrong way, and then felt bad that my original "Thank You VMK" post had been viewed over 60 times and noone responded to my story that for New Year's I was gifted the one thing I always wanted.

I have been away from the boards for a couple of days with all of that real life stuff, but hope that you will forgive me for my emotional reaction. It sounds like there has been exciting news that I still have to catch up on.

That is quite a gift indeed. But *cough* I remember it costing 30 grand when it first came out. That put quite a dent in my virtual pocket back then.

Well, it started out at 20K (when i got my first one) then went up to 30K, and then for quest month they cut the price in half to 15K (where i got my 2nd one)

I'm very excited for you, for getting something that you can remember new year's eve upon. However, I am extremely sorry that you lost a friend... I know how it feels, one of my best friends died of luchiemia.

anya, I am pea green with envy about your wonderful gift. I was too dumb and too cheap to pay even 15K for a quest kiosk when it was on sale. Now, I kick myself in the virtual bottom every time I think about it! How cool for you to get that!
