After drooling for who-knows-how-many months over your pictures of the rock shrimp, DH and I decided to leave our home a few hours earlier than originally planned so we'd be sure to get the chance to savor them ourselves. Being a Friday AND a holiday (7/4), we were afraid the line would be out the door, but we arrived a few minutes after 5pm and were seated right away. It was my first time having rock shrimp (one of the few things I was still virginal about!) and they were GREAT! We wanted to hit it again on the way home but it was 9am in the morning and we had just finished breakfast! You'll be happy to know they serve LOTS of shrimp on the cruise...in fact I think I had them each and every day in one dish or another. Again, thanks for the tip and have a wonderful time on your upcoming cruise!!!!!

Glad you enjoyed "MY" Dixie Crossroads!!! My mouth has been watering for them "Rock Shrimp" and "Cornfritters" since last November, I can't wait to get back there!!!
