I was feeling a little "home" sick today. Winter has finally arrive in Tennesee. As I was walking out to the mailbox, pulling my coat around me, I thought, "Gee I bet it is nice in Hilton Head today." and even if it were not warm, a walk on the beach sure would beat a walk to the mail box.

Then I decided to go home, compliments of Tommy Towery. As the images of his website came into the focus, it was the sounds I heard that let me know I was at the right place. Tommy, I could not have picked better music.

Of course once I was there, I had to re-visit my favorite DVC primer, Jacuzzi 101.

I couldn't agree more, TT's HH DVC site is great. We did an 150pt add-on at HH and are planning for our first trip in Jan 02. We felt as if we weren't quite buying site unseen since there were so many nice pictures on Tommy's website. Looking forward to DVC HH and our first trip in a 2BR. Although the weather may be chilly, 6 nights in a 2BR for < 100pts sounds like a nice mid-winter get away.

Thanks for the note. Of course for most of the stuff I am just a collector and editor of other's efforts. I especially am grateful to Doc for his knowledge and the way he is not afraid to ask and collect information. I love to go to the live cameras and see what is going on at the beach myself.

I am off to HHI for the middle two weeks of January now. Would have been the last two weeks, but I got selected for jury duty the last week. That was when I really appreciated the flexability of DVC. If I had owned a timeshare and got selected for jury duty during one of my weeks, I would have eaten it. With DVC I was able to call member services and cancel the last week and then book the middle week, which still gave me my two weeks vacation.

I hope to find some great new things to add to the site. I also have, but have never posted tons of photos of Vero Beach.
