We called Disney Information from our SSR room, and were told the bracelet given at the Chase lounge would be for the concert. I often find the DISBOARD information to be more accurate than what I get from Disney, so DH & I went to EPCOT to find out for ourselves.

The Chase location is by Italy and it was excellent viewing!

Was the Chase illuminations viewing area crowded? Did you have to get to the lounge early to get the bands? We will be in Epcot next Thursday and are trying to decide if we should head to the lounge when the World Showcase opens.

The area was not crowded. They allow for 300 bracelets. DH & I estimated there were 150 in the area. We got to the lounge around 1:30, and hoped for the best...it must have been a slow day for them!

I wonder if it would work to go to the Chase lounge early in the day, get your bracelet, go bak to the room late in the afternoon, then come back (we'll be at BCV) just for Illuminations. Our "prime viewing spot" is gone now, thanks to the Spice Road resturaunt so this is great news.

Since the lounge is in the American Pavilion, upstairs, has its own entrance, I guess it has the World Showcase hours.

Have fun! We took a spot by the side railing, toward the American Gardens Theater, it was perfect!

Where is the viewing area exactly? Do you think the area is worth trying to get to the lounge early in order to get the bracelet? We would definitely like to get a great view of illuminations w/o having to line up for a spot too early prior to viewing. I am thinking this reserved area would allow us to show up later and still get a nice view. I am just wondering if we should make getting to the lounge a priority that day.

Chase sponsors the F&W. They have a lounge with coke refreshments for people who can show them any Chase credit card. The lounge is upstairs at the Am Pavilion this year.

And do you know if everyone in the party has to be at the lounge to receive a band, or could one person pick up bands for 5 (not everyone is as excited about this opportunity as I am). As word spreads, the area will probably be more crowed.

They only give a wristband to people who are present. We got to the space 35 minutes or so before the fireworks. We were able to listen to the concert while waiting.

American Pavilion is where you get the wristbands, in the Chase lounge. At night you go to Italy to see Illuminations.

Near the fence to the water in Italy there is a bridge, and steps. Facing the water there are viewing areas to the right and left of those steps. The Chase area is on the left.
