Just want to say thanks for those of you who put the idea into my head that it's worth it to check the different airlines everyday in the search for a good price on airfare.

We've been trying to find something for my parents who'll join us at the Beach Club Villas during the second week in November and the best we were seeing was $300 rt., pp. Then on Monday, I went to Northwest's site and low and behold, they were running a deal and we were able to get rt. tickets, Detroit to Orlando, nonstop for $150 pp!

I checked again over the next few days and that particular deal had already disappeared!

So it does pay to check everyday without fail, when searching for a good fare.

If you bought a ticket, be sure to check with the airline just about every week to see if they have lower fares. If they do, ask for a voucher on the difference.

I bought 3 round trip tickets back on May 30 for an Aug 23 departure date. As of now, I have gotten $115.00 in travel vouchers because the airfare went down.

It never hurts to ask. Airlines wont do this themselves because they dont have the manpower to do it. It would be great if it was automatic, but no one is ever going to refund money unless they are asked to..
