THANK YOU to all of the brave men and women in our armed services.

On a very rainy day yesterday, decided to see the "15:17 to Paris". DH and I RARELY go to the movies, prefer to rent on Comcast in the comfort of our own home. Think the last time we went to the movies was about 2 years ago. Must say the very comfortable large recliner leather seating was incredibly comfortable.
The 15:17 to Paris was one of the best movies that I can remember seeing in a very long time. There is so much "garbage" out there, imho. This movie was about friendship bonds, bravery, and service to our country, perseverance. I have a godson as we speak packing to return home for "next steps" from his 3 1/2 year commitment in the Army Officer Program as a 1st Lieutenant doing a 9 month tour in Afghanistan. God bless him, he has just been admitted to a few top law schools so far for a September start.
SO PROUD of him, he not only is a good student, brave and strong, but a very compassionate young man. He called his 94 year old grandma, "Nanny" from Afghanistan weekly because he didn't want her to worry and wanted to remain in contact with her. SO PROUD!
Highly recommend the movie, don't think you will be disappointed!
