Thank you to all of the folks that cruised with us....

I booked on board for the next podcast cruise already and I completely agree that it will be hard to go on a cruise without walking around and seeing friends everywhere! I found it incredibly funny to see the looks on people's faces while we were doing the group photo.

I can't wait for the next one! This time DBF will be coming, hopefully William will jump on board again, and maybe one of our other friends as well!

Kevin, John and all the crew - just wanted you to know that we all share your awe of how great this cruise was. We made so many new DIS friends and renewed some old ones too.

It was fun to put real names and faces with the screen names. It will make posting on the DIS a whole different experience from now on as we can mentally picture who we are "talking" to.

LOL! Who changed the thing under my avatar??!!! That's awesome!

With all that going on....you really should have gone with us.

It sounds like you could have used a vacation.:thumbsup2

Oh I do need one, but more I think John needs one away from me LOL.

I've not been the most pleasant person to be around these days.

I'm glad you had such a wonderful time and I will be there next year.

We JUST walked in the door and I was coming to post how amazing the cruise was. Everyone was just as wonderful, funny, approachable, and kind as they are on the podcasts. We made friends, had a great time - have LOTS of pictures - can't believe it's over and went so fast.

Kevin, John, Pete and the rest of the Crew, thank you for an absolutely incredible 4 days. This trip exceeded anything I could have imagined.

What will stay with me is finally meeting people that I have been posting and chatting with for the past 17 months. I've never been hugged or given so many hugs in my life. I have made a whole lot of new friends.

Can't wait for Podcast Cruise 2010!
Can't wait for the details on the ABD trip in April 2010!

:grouphug:

As above to the crew, an absolutely amazing past four days. I just got plugged in at the Dolphin (thanks for that too, guys) and wanted to add my thanks. I booked on board for the 2010 cruise because I just can't imagine another cruise without seeing podcruisers all over the ship.

Tracy, thank you for everything! For putting up with our eleven threads over the past 17 months, countless AskTracy questions and for organizing a trip that would rival any military action. You rock! I hope you and Bill enjoy your vacation. Lord knows you deserve it!

Thanks everyone, Thought I was working, it was a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again!! I want at least 618 people this time so get ready to tell all your Friends and Family!!!

Be careful for what you wish for!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

hhmmm something tells me you should listen to the podcast when it comes online. I'm sure you'll enjoy what you hear:thumbsup2

Louise & Mark, you don't expect me to not take a little vacation now do you ;) . As I understand it, we are working on a pricing sheet for the waitlist and once that it ready you can put you names in for me to get you quotes when I get home. I'm home on May 30, but the Groups Department isn't open on weekends so we'll have to wait until June 1.

When we were getting our luggage at BWI this evening, we noticed a family who had DCL luggage tags. We asked him if he was on the wonder and he said yes. I asked him if he was part of the podcast cruisers. He said no but said he wished he was be aide it looked like we had a lot of fun. I hope you don't mind, ASKTracy, I sent him your way and forgot to tell him you were on vacation (sorry!) and told him to plan for Dec 12, 2010.

As to everyone looking for details, be patient... It'll be worth the wait ;)

To the podcast team, I cannot find a way to express our gratitude enough. We had an amazing time and thank you so much for the wonderful cruise you worked so hard to put together. Oh, and Tracy...you are famous too ;)

I am sooo wanting to be on the 2010 cruise. It's our busiest month, but I'm hoping I can juggle dates enough to make it work!
Sounds like it was a super wonderful time.:goodvibes

You and me, both. I think I'm going to have to ask my boss if she'd allow me to take yet another December trip. If we can go, I'll have to stow away with you, Sharon.

Just chiming in with another HUGE thanks to all involved! What an amazing trip! So many memories and so much fun!

Our first cruise and with the buildup (17 months worth?) we really thought there would be a let down on the cruise as it could not possibly live up to the hype...

We were wrong, between the DCL staff, our fellow DIS'ers, and of course the Podcast Crew and DU team all expectations (which were sky high) were exceeded. So nice to renew friendships and to have started so many new ones... :thumbsup2

We are so-o-o-o impressed with DCL. All other Disney experiences pale in comparision. The quality of service is just incredible! We left the ship with 8 crew member e-mails and even booked a future trip when a couple of these crew members will be on board as guests with thier families.

A new standard in vacation fun has been achieved and we will not let a year go by without at least a 4 day cruise being a part of our life from now on. I figure we can put $25 a week aside and the cruising will go on and on.

For all of my friends who like to plan and like to worry about the "what if" factor. We would have no problem in the future flying in the morning of cruise and flying back afternoon of disembarkation. Both boarding and disembarkation of the ship can be accomplished in less than an hour (we woke up, ate, and were in car within a 60 minutes on Thursday)

We know what a labor of love carting all of the FE gifts were and appreciate everyones efforts. It was like Christmas every time we came back to room! :santa:

The experience was certainly a "sea change" in our lifes, we must now make up for lost time (need more cruises). The mental health aspects of disconnecting from the cell phone, the laptop, and the daily news were amazing (Much to Rick's surprise the world really does go on without our intervention for 4 days!). It is also amazing to really get to spend concentrated time whith your loved ones and see all the small things that make them the wonderfull quality life partners they continue to develop into. In our case, we are all to often consumed with our busy lives and miss the little changes!

Thanks to all for the best vacation EVER! :thumbsup2

Figure a way to make the 2010 podcast cruise (or any cruise for that matter)... We would gladly give up a Disney trip (or two) for a DCL cruise.

It sounds like ya'll had a great time! I'm so glad! The weather here was perfect, so I bet the skies out there were great, too. I would have paid big money to see that kareoke performance. PLEASE tell me someone has it on video.

I wanted to go so badly. Watching it on Facebook from afar was sad. I guess poor people like me were never meant to go on cruises. Oh well. I caught the finales of House, Lost, and my college career. Plus, I know that the crew will have great colsolation prizes for those left behind. *bats eyelashes*

Just got to the Dolphin. The cruise was fantastic, it was great to meet up with friends I rarely get to see, and to make new friends, too. There were so many people, and all I saw were smiles and people having a great time.

Kevin, we enjoyed your Abba debut with Yvett, Mindy, and Todd. You guys rocked! Also loved watching Dan sing, Tommy dance, and other DISers up there. It was so much fun! :teeth:

Oh, and congratulations to ... !!!

mj

I can't wait to see where our ABBA debut will show up...and Aaron's wild party song...and Dan's....and Chris's....and....
