Hi. I have started selling on ebay over the last 6 weeks and have read your threads here on the dis. I was reading the other day about the fraudulent emails supposedly originating from e-bay. Even though I read those threads, when I received an email this AM from "ebay" I was sure it was the real thing. It said I had entered my password incorrectly 3 times in the last few days and would have to re-submit all my info or my acct. would be suspended. I was half way through and remembered what I had read here. I emailed my email to spoof@ebay (I think it was) and I just got my response that my email asking to submit my info "did not originate from ebay...they're very concerned blah blah"...THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH for addressing that topic. You saved me what was probably going to be a lot of hassle if not lost money. I never originally thought it was a fraud email because it was SO REAL looking and because I often type too fast and have to resubmit my password on ebay- or anywhere. Thanks again guys.
