Thank you Southwest and 2 weeks+ to go

Today we were trying to tie down a reservation for 11/26 and 11/27 since my waitlist didn't come thru. I have a very expensive cash reservation at a DVC resort. And even though we have to move twice, I don't really want to spend that kind of money. So we are moving to a moderate resort instead of blowing the budget. I felt pretty good about that decision. We're saving $700+.

Then tonight my DH went online to Southwest to look up our teen DD's flight info for me because they are both flying in at different times during our 10 days at WDW. He checked our fares and low and behold there was an online special and he saved us $492!!!!!! Most of that was returned to us. Then he used the $90 credit toward two $69 tickets (ea way) for my daughter and I to go from Providence to DC (via Baltimore) in January for a meeting and to look at a college. WOW is all I can say. Thank you Southwest. You just made our trip(s).

A few more details to settle tomorrow, some tickets to purchase, maybe a few more MVMCP tix to acquire and we're on our way. I need to start packing......... And still my 8 year old DD has no idea that we'll be in the MK in just over two weeks. We are having such a hard time NOT talking about it!!!!!

Don't you just love it when so pixie dust finally comes your way!!! We booked yesterday with SWA and hopefully we'll find a ding in our favor too. Congratulations on those savings.

We have a ding for our return trip in Jan. Whoopee. Credits building for another return visit. Savings of $121. Now if we can just get another ding before we go. I'm listening.

We have bounceback booked for Sept 09 ASMU, we may keep it we may not, we booked 7/4 deal for feb @ PORS, for just a couple hundred more than ASMU FD in Sept bounceback........we have DDXDP, 2/4~2/11 and tickets, 3 adults $3000 plus a $200 gift card we will use for tipping...............and we get 5% discount on top of the whole package from our TA, all but the tax is discounted 5%, so with the gift card and the additional discount, so basically we are looking at $350 off of the $3000, so it really does come close to our sept bounceback offer and now we are at a moderate instead of a value, value wasnt available for that date, except POP and I dont like POP............SW has $64 each way non stop fares that in my opinion, we are not going to see too often these days, this past Sept, I paid $71 each way and that was booked way back in April, before the biggest gas hikes, so I am thinking, no humidity, low fares, mod vs. value, still getting DDXDP, still a good deal for us....................when I looked at the whole picture.........all ADRs were available for all days..... Any one know what the arcade voucher is on my confirmation reservation?
