Thank You! Pics of shirts, Autograph pages finally added

We are back from our trip, 10/19-25, we had so much fun! My 2 boys had 4 days of matching shirts that I made from the fabulous designs found here. I made 2 shirts for myself. This was my first attempt at shirts, it took longer than I thought with a few minor mishaps along the way. Thank you so much for the great work. My boys loved the shirts, lots of people in the parks asked about them. The Star Wars Lego shirts were by far the most popular shirts. My boys wore them to DHS and tons of people wanted to know where to buy these shirts!!!

This was our first try at character autographs on this trip. DS6 really got into it. I printed 4x6 index cards and put them on a clipboard to have the characters sign. Then we put the signed cards in a photo album so the boys could look at them and count them. We got over 60 autographs! The pages were just beautiful.

I will post pictures of the shirts, then pictures of my boys wearing the shirts, and pictures of the autographs pages. Everything worked out great! DISsigns has been a wonderful discovery for me, and thus has made our trip so much more magical. I am blown away daily by the creativity that flows out of all the designers.

Here are the shirts:

Fronts: Black shirts worn at DHS and blue shirts worn at MK

Backs:

Fronts: Orange shirts worn at Epcot and MNSSHP under costumes, white shirts worn at AK

Fronts: Mom's shirts, purple tinkerbell worn at MK, black shirt for MNSSHP

I'll put the boys wearing the shirts in a separate post, as well as the autograph pages. My son asked each day "what kind of shirt are we wearing today?". He was excited. I had 1 day where I did not make a shirt (ran out of time), and he was so sad, asking "how come you didn't make me a special shirt today?" Bad mommy!!

I outlined a few of the shirts with fabric paint. However, the one picture of Tinkerbell where I painted right on the iron-on, that green paint all came off after I washed it. I guess fabric paint does not adhere to the slick iron on. It did not come off the other shirts.

You are welcome to use the picture of the boys, the Star Wars shirts were so awesome -- it was the boys favorite!!

Well, for some strange reason, I could not access PhotoBucket all day, so I'm only now posting the autograph pages. Here are lots of our pages. They really turned out fabulous. I printed a huge stack of 4x6 index cards and sorted them by park and character meals. I decorated a small clipboard that the characters could write on and used a retractable Sharpie pen. Now they are in a photo album that has 4 pictures per page. The boys love to look through the book. For that, it was all worth it!!

Wow! Everything looks absolutely stunning!!!! Well done, your boys are just too cute hunni!

Loving your autograph pages as well! I have ordered gift baskets from Memories by Betsy and had autograph books put in them for my boys but I am also going to use some pages from the board and make a little book up to use in scrapbook I'm planning on doing as well!

Well done again looks like you guys had a ball!

They all look so great and the boys are too cute. My boys are 6 & 12 so I think the matching shirt days are almost over.

Do you remember which disigner did the Star Wars one? I've looked through so many I can't remember who does what.

One more question, how do you do the autograph sheets? Do you print right onto 4x6 cards or onto 8-1/2x11 card stock and cut down? Did you download them? I've never done this before and feel pretty computer illiterate right now.

For the autograph pages, they are printed directly to a 4x6 index card. I had my pages loose and put them on a clipboard for the characters to sign. then put the signed ones in a photo album. Some people like to have them bound like a booklet for signing. There are several fabulous autograph page designers on this board... here are a few that I used:
