This morning after physical therapy, my father is scheduled to be released from the hospital. It is truly a miracle. He is still weak and will require outpatient physical therapy, but he is coming home.
I know that Mom and Dad will be happy to see their home once again.
Thank you all so much for all the prayers and support that you gave us during this time. I mean this from the bottom of my heart...it meant so much.
Also, thank you to those of you who don't pray, but sent your good thoughts to our family. We appreciated your kind comments and well wishes as well.
I believe in my heart that the prayers, support and my Mother's unending faith is what helped my father to survive when the odds were all against him.
He was wheeled back to ICU yesterday to visit all the wonderful staff that took care of him while he was so ill. My mom reports that they are all as happy and thrilled that he was able to overcome this. And I think that they are all as surprised as the rest of us.
The people of the Dis are a great bunch of people and I do appreciate you all.
All the Best,
Teri
