Thank you to everyone who helped us out with tips. Here are the best ones I experienced.
1. The Brita water bottle was by far the best tip...I saved hundreds of $$ on water. Since I was breastfeeding I have to drink all day/all night so it was fantastic!
2. The meal vouchers were perfect, saved us $ and helped with our budget, kind of a relief knowing the meal was already paid for.
3. The baby care centers are a calming relief for an overstimulated infant and toddler.
4. Planning a lot ahead of time, ps's, ph passes already bought, loose itinerary made the vacation run much smoother.
5. Walkie Talkies were extremely important for when we split up.
6. Without Fast Pass, we would have had many unnecessary waits, use it!
7. Our own stroller, better for infant to sleep, most restaurants let us bring it in so infant could remain in it.
8. Restaurant Akershus/ Artist Point, highly recommended and tried for 1st time, loved them both!
9. Towncar from airport, faster and cheaper than shuttle for more than 2 ppl.
10. 1 gallon freezer bags. Packed daily outfits in them and used them for so many things: carrying diapers/wipes, carrying medicines, put in wet or dirty clothes, snacks, endless....
Thanks to everyone who has ever put these tips on the boards!

My own quick ones.
1. Don't pack so much!
2. I wouldn't recommend going to WDW with a non-sleeping infant. Exhausting!!
3. Realize that each trip will be different and keep expectations to a minimum, esp. re: crowds/weather/who you are traveling with.
4. The WL transportation was not as bad as people have said it is.
5. The cast members/ and most of the other guests are wonderful, had a lot of help especially on/off bus with my infant/stroller when I was alone.
6. With little ones, go to MK first, my ds-3 1/2 had a hard time waiting, but we planned it because of other factors (day of the week, spectromagic, magic morning, etc.), and the most important factor should have been him.
7. The Trails End Buffet was really good, enjoyed the campground, got lost trying to find the campfire, will definitely do it next trip!

That's all I can think of for now, I guess it's time to fantasize about our next trip....

Thanks dparksfan, great tips! ::yes:: I saw a Brita water pitcher the other day in town, I didn't know they sold them here in Sweden, I was all, Yay! Disney! ::yes:: :Pinkbounc I'm thinking of getting one and putting it in a special box to for pre packing, although I've months and months to go, so maybe it's silly yet it's fun too, getting all ready. What did you drink in the parks? I am thinking of maybe skipping the pitcher and getting Brita water bottles to carry with us in the parks instead.
My BF and I are going to get a towncar for the airport transfer, even though it's more expensive I still think the difference we'll pay is worth it to just get to the hotel faster and smoothly after two long flights.
We will be going to MK first thing the next morning, as I am alot like your ds and can't wait to see the Mouse :wave2: .

I was wondering what the meal vouchers are and how you go about getting them???

Thanks.

Hopefully this link will answer all of your questoins about how the meal vouchers work. We used them last year and had mixed feelings about them. To really save money, IMO, you have to really watch what you oder. For example, meal vouchers include a dessert. We usually do not eat a dessert with each meal, so if we skipped it, then it wouldn't be a cost saver.

Great program and a great way to pre-purchase meals ahead of time. You'll just have to make your own decisions after doing research. If the link doesn't work, you can find all the information about Connections Food Vouchers in the Budget thread (at the very top as you enter this thread) here on the DisBoards.
