I've been following these boards since we booked our first trip back to WDW since 2009 earlier this year.

I can't believe we're this close, but my FP+ day was today!!!

I got 7DMT at 60+1 - then modified it to a 2:00 timeframe!

I got FOP at 6+2 at a very early afternoon time that works for us - since we're going to MK DAH later that night!

I got everything else I wanted, and then couldn't decide how to spend my 3rd FP at AK (since I booked the FoTLK Tier 1 package - which gives me lunch, FoTLK, and Safari all in one)…. what to do now???

I was almost crying this morning, not gonna lie. I'm so excited for this trip. I didn't realize how much Disney has captured my heart for so many years. I was all prepared to RD FOP, since I figured I would never get it at 60+2. I left a couple hours open in my late afternoon AK touring plan, just in case I could get it. And I did!!!!

(can I just explain here for a second how my family looked at me so incredibly weird when I was hopping around the living room this morning, so excited that I got the FP+ for FOP, and they truly were just mad at me for being awake at oh-dark-thirty??)

Anyway - thanks to this board to giving me so much insight. There is NO WAY I would've known as much about FP as I do now, had I not been here. FoTLK Tier 1 package? Thank you, Disboards! Hey - there's a MK DAH on a night that I'm there? Cool - take my money! What? A dessert party that works with my plans? OK!

Yep - I'm 'that guy'. We're 'that family'. The ones who are happily shelling out big bucks to have a killer experience, since we're only there for 2 days prior to a cruise. And, I'm just so stinkin' happy that I had to come here and say.....

Sometimes our family doesn't quite understand what we've gone thru to do for them. After getting up as you say at dark-thirty (thanks for my new phrase) at my 60 day point & getting FOP, 63 days later we rope drop FOP, it takes so long & NR line is so long I'm concerned we won't be out in time to use FOP FP, my DD18 says "oh, just let that FP go, we've done it." Wait?!? What?!? She had no idea what it meant to hold a 9-10 am FOP FP.
