I just recieved a call from Robin at the Wishing Well and she said the foundation had recieved a donation in Nathan's name. She was so excited I wish you could have heard her voice. I told her it had to have come from someone on this board. She asked me to post a thank you from her. I also want to thank you all again. More donations equals more wishes for sick children. That is a wonderful thing and the fact that some of them are in Nate's name means he is helping other kids too. That means alot to all of us! I am so happy to be apart of this dfamily!

I spoke with the TA that Wishing Well contacted to book the cruise to tell her about the cabin upgrade. Just in case we needed to do anthing different. She said she was really surprised because both she and Robin had asked them to upgrade our cabin. She said they had even offered to pay extra if they could do it at a discount rate. Whoever they talked with said "NO!". They never told us any of that, I guess they thought we would be let down.
My point is, you all have really done an amazing thing by getting our rooms upgraded. I was really thankful before, but have again been reminded how truely remarkable you all are. I have often wondered about the first day I posted on here....when you all woke up that a.m. did you know you would be making such a difference in someones life that day? Because you sure enough have! And I don't just mean the upgrade!!!

The same should be said right back at you! Many (more than we would care to admit I'm sure) times we forget how blessed we are. Your family and Nathan have reminded us to count those blessings every day. Your family is obviously very special, or Nathan would be with someone else. I truly believe that. Only the best & strongest (whether you want to be or not, you are) are given special life circumstances. Thank you Christina, for coming into our lives and letting us come into yours!

Well you have done amazing things for many people's hearts, my DS asks about your Nathan all the time, "did that boy go on the cruise yet? etc" when I was figuring out what I could sacrifice to help you all out he offered to give up some of his Disney dollars (which we sent off to a certain special "captain" to help make his trip more rewarding) You have touched many lives with your story and even though my nails and hair look neglected my heart is feeling beautiful! Thank you for blessing us all with your story! Have a fantastic trip!

That is so true, the story you shared about Nate has touched more lives than those on the boards here. I have shared the photos you sent with my family and co-workers as well. I am often asked how my "Little Buddy--Verandah Boy" is doing. You and your family has been not only a blessing to me, but to many others around me!!!

Can't wait to see some of your photos, and hear your thoughts when you return from your "MAGICal" cruise!!!

One more thing, don't be too harsh on the "WONDERful DIS'ers" when you find out what they have done. Please accept everything as a "Gift of Love!!!"

Andy, do you mean to say I have been harsh? I hope I have not. Nothing I have said has ever been said to hurt or offend anyone. If I have, please know how very sorry I am. I have only wanted to express how thankful we are. The upgrade, the t-shirts & pillowcases, the donations to the Wishing Well…I honestly didn’t know there were such generous and caring people out there. And to be honest, I never would have thought that I would meet them on a message board! I know I couldn't win any prizes with my writing skills, but I hope I have gotten across how special this has all been to us. And thanks Andy for letting me know my meaning has been unclear. We have just been so overwhelmed by it all that I usually don't know what to say!

Exactly what Ann was saying here, I didn't mean that in any kind of degrading way at all. You have been most gracious!!! Just merely, when you get on the ship, there are more "surprises" in store, and these are all done out of love for your family and Nate.

I was trying to give you a "tongue in cheek" expression, about not being to harsh on the DIS'ers when you get back from your cruise. It was my way of trying to be humorous, I guess maybe it backfired on me.

I just got home and realized my wife has been drinking again. She's not very quick on the uptake when she's been drinking (OK she's not quick when she's NOT drinking! (Just kidding - she hardly ever drinks; she just wants everyone to know how grateful we are). You may have to cut Chris some slack, she's a message board newbie. She did figure out ROFLMBO without any assistance. She thought she was really "hip" when she wanted to respond with LOL!

Anyway, we are eagerly anticipating what is yet to come!!
