Hey Bob, I was really impressed when I first got them and could not even open the door in my room. Then the good times with the Fast Pass Plus system!!!!!!!!!! Lets just say the Magic Bands made it into the garbage can the second day of my trip.

Anyways thanks for spending all this $$$$$ on this dud!!!! Plus I love the great news about putting all other park projects on hold!!!!!!!! Why not really??????????

Bob your certainly making Michael Eisner look bad with all that you have accomplished during your tenure. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

P.S I got a real kick out of Disney promoting the "Jingle Cruise" ( A Sort of Christmas version of the Jungle Cruise but not really) like it was something special and new!!!!!!

Its like the scene in Mickeys Christmas Carol when Scrooge and Willie the Giant are looking through the window at Tiny Tim's family eating their sparse Christmas diner. Bob Cratchit starts cutting a pea in slivers for the family to eat and they all think its great. This is what modern Disney is like for their attractions. Cut a pea into slivers and hope everyone thinks its okay!!!!!!!!

The old Disney used to have a feast with suckling pig and all the fine things in life.

P.S.S.

Oh and one last thought.

The nerve of Disney thinking they can sell t-shirts with Magic Bands on them saying " I'm with the band" and "Lets Band together". Give me a break, how stupid do they think people are?

I asked a Cast Member how many of these t-shirts she has sold at Coronado Springs and she responded with an enthusiastic "Zero!".

Cool!!!!

Something on your mind there champ?

I guess I am taking things a little 2 seriously here. Just that the Magic Bands and the $$$$ wasted ticks me off.

We went in October and had 0 issues with our magic bands Our FP+ worked just fine as well. Sorry to hear you had issues.

We got magic bands for our Sept. trip and our Oct. trip. They worked out GREAT for us. Sorry you had problems. But there is some of us who really like having them and using them. So I guess, Thank You Bob for magic bands and all they can do!!!!!! We love them!!!!

Not trying to be an donkey on this topic either but Bob did wonders for the movie department

Sorry Jonathan for offending you about your hero Ogre.

Iger has no P.R, and has no clue how to run the Resort and Theme Park aspect of the company. Eisner was a zillion times better.

This is not a finished product yet. Many people have had very good experiences with them and I am looking forward to them. This still a test nit everything is going to be perfect the system changed everyday. And here's the kicker you don't have to use them you can use a card just like the past.

I agree with you but I don't agree with Iger's temporary solution to put the original DLR's 60th anniversary plans on hold for something that may or may not make them a profit out of TDO. TDO and TDA should have separate budgets.. why make the rest of us suffer for their shortcomings? jack up the ticket prices at WDW to make up for it, don't make us pay for it by having a lackluster 60th anniversary. :furious:

You are correct there they should be separate that is a little mind boggling

Did you even read what I wrote? I wrote how he saved the movie department of Disney, if you really wan't to judge someone you have to understand more than just their view on the parks

I believe that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, but this thread is neither Rumor nor News.

If it belongs anywhere, it belongs in the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies forum, along with all the other posts from all the other people who don't like Magic Bands.
