Thank you Amtrak for a Decade of Disneyland!

Wow! Seriously, such an amazing TR! Not only informative but you provided so many great pictures of everything! I just happened to read this because it was mentioned on the Main Disneyland boards and all I can say is wow! Thanks for sharing a little piece of your magic until we go later this year:thumbsup2

^^^ ...Mentioned by me! Marie is a friend, and we periodically refer people to each other's trip reports when they are relevant to something being discussed!:rotfl:

Marie, the reason why I recently mentioned this particular TR of yours was because someone was asking questions about how much in the way of holiday decor they would see if they went to the parks from November 1-4 this year (I think they wanted to avoid crowds while still getting the holiday experience). I told them what I usually tell people - they will see some things going up, but that it's a gradual decoration process up until the season start date and that they would be short-changing themselves to go during this time frame because it's really not the full experience - IF the full Christmas experience is important to them. IASW Holiday won't even be open yet, and that's major! Of course, the crowds are lower so that is a plus!

Then I recalled that your DLR trip lasted from 10/31 until a couple of days before the holiday season began last year and would have covered that 11/1 - 11/4 time frame. I suggested that the OP look at this TR's photos to get an idea of what decorations might be up that early in November. I don't know if she ever actually checked it out, though.

Good recommendation Sherry!:cool1:
