Some great suggestions. I know my wife wants to kayak on the lake, which will no doubt be beautiful. I've spent some time in Lake Placid and love it, but my guess, since it will be a short respit, we will likely stay in the Bolton/Lake George vicinity. The restaurant suggestion sounds great (I figure we'll want to eat at least one meal off of the Sagamore's property).
