I'm so excited!
Even though we were just in WDW in January, all it seems DH and I (especially DH!) could talk about is getting back there in November for the kids school break. He was convinced there wouldn't be any fall discounts, all the while I was telling him I was confident they would come out in August. FD or at least 40% discount would be a must for us to be able to take a fall trip.
When they announced FD last week, then we started looking for good airfare. We finally got the flights and airfare we wanted and booked. We got $89 down on SW, and wound up getting 2 fares free for a $200 credit!
We also got $89 back on AT, which we already had a $215 credit that had to be used. It even wound up being cheaper to get evening flight so we got an extra night out of our trip.
We are heading down just before Jersey week starts to get better airfare and miss a little of the crowds, 11/2-11/10, so the kids only miss 2 days of school. We are going to pick the kids up from school a little early on 11/2 for a pseudo doctors appointment and we'll surprise them by driving right to the airport!
Anyone else out there want to share their excitement? Because I can't contain mine.
