Thank God for DVC- cant cancel "paid" vacation

Ok we need to buy a new car. DHs car is no longer running. (I get the new car, he gets mine). We are now looking at car payments but since we are DVC members we cant cancel our next vacation. DH would say dont worry about it anyways, there's enough money in retirement.

But THANK GOD FOR DVC!!!!!! I know we will be cruising in November!!!!!

"Forced vacations" is one of the true blessings of DVC!

Not only for affordability but also those "I'm too busy to get away" responses that I used to be guilty of.

BTW, sweet deal on you getting the new car and DH getting your old one! Must not have been part of the "let's join DVC" negotiations!

I've got to totally agree here, this is perhaps the best part of owning, you know you'll just have to go back, even when hit with a major expense... We just bought a van last Sunday, so we're right there with ya!

My husband said the same thing about a new car a year ago. He needed a good used car to go out of town in. I was told he was shopping, or I could go buy a new one and give him mine. He took the old Suburban, and I have the new one. He likes the older one and I prefer my new one, so we are both happy. We are driving his this summer to Disney to save miles on mine.
