Get this, I may be heading to Alburqurgue, ok so how do you spell that city in NM , boy am I blonde. ANywho, I will be going a week before I leave for Fockerfest. I will know for sure tomorrow if I have to go. Now this means I have to unpack for Fockerfest and then pack for NM and repack for FOckerfest. And I would be traveling on my B-day

Last night I put finishing touches on Jimmy's little sumpin for the kiddos (Jo I need another Kid count please ).

It's at home Janet, but I think we lost 5 kids, Heidis 2 girls and S'Lates 3!

Now this means I have to unpack for Fockerfest and then pack for NM and repack for FOckerfest. And I would be traveling on my B-day

One Pair??? Wow. I need a few to make my feet happy, at least 2 to change up how my feet feel from walking all day. I generally can't wear my crocs all day either, I switch to flatter ones after a while.

Me, too Kat - gotta have a couple of fitting options available. In winter, it's a combination of Crocs clogs and running sneaks. Summer = Capris and clogs.

What's the definition of "flip-flop"?? As in, those shoes that cannot be worn at signature restaurants. Is it any thong-type flat sandal, or just plastic/rubber ones you'd wear to the pool? Down here, we refer to any thong as a flip-flop, but I'm questioning The Mouse's interpretation.

These are my "dress sandals" that I wear when going out to eat at home:

Will I be turned away from Narcoosees in these? Does it help that they'll be paired with a green shirt dress or, alternatively, a brown skirt and nice top???

THose absolutely should be okay. LEt me tell you what mom said. They have been told that the only thing really NOT acceptable are Tanks Tops on men, cut offs, bathing suits, and flip flops (as in the kind you buy in walgreens for $2!

I looked at the seating chart and can I please make a request to switch, maybe with Mel? The reason is I think Kelly would be more comfortable with other kids at the table. Trying not to be difficult, but she can be shy and I just think it would be better if other kids were at the table. KWIM?

I had a mini-panic attack just now when I couldn't find my passport. I found it though! It had become wedged in the book I was reading on the plane two weeks ago. Thank god!

Mini!!!!! I would have been freaking. Glad you found it! Is the rule now that you have to have a passport? Couldn't you use just s drivers license and your birthcertificate?

Yes, we can use that up until some point in 2009, then we will need passports to cross the border. We always like to follow the policy of using the best form of id possible, it causes less problems. I end up having to travel with my marriage certificate because my maiden name is still on my drivers license. It's the only change you have to go in eprson to make and I am way too lazy to go to the DMV.

Traveling down was fine as the Syracuse airport security are really familiar with Canadian id, it was the MCO security trying to fly home that were the problem. At least we know they can't argue with a passport!
