TFW Meet 2008 The Mission: Wiener Salad & Margaritas - Trip Report Links on Page 1

Friday Funny before I head out... when I called last night to book June, the CM started to ask if I'd like ME. She stopped herself with a small laugh and said, "Oh wait, you're already in FL!" To which I replied, "Yes, but if ME would like to come get me, I'm more than willing!" Now THAT would be MAGICAL! :rotfl2:

Don't let T scare ya...:rotfl: You can take the jeans off your list though...TOO HOT...won't need 'em.

All I do is match up a few outfits and pack 'em. Half the time I mix 'em all up anyway. I do plan Michael's clothes though and pack his outfits in ziploc bags and then I write the date and place on each bag. Much easier to get him ready that way - then I spend more time on ME in the morning...Hmmm...what should I wear???;)
:rotfl2: . yeah it does scare me a little.... i usually don't even plan out what park i'm going to each day. gasp..... i know, but we like to just play it by ear (no pun intened!)........
but , that is a good idea to plan out kids outfits , cuz i usually end up packing like 20 diff outfits. it drives my dh crazy!!!

oh and i usually bring a pair of jeans cuz we drive, so in mid of sept coming back to ohio........you never know it could be like 50 degress or less here!!:scared1:
I don't have any problem at all telling my kids that we're going to Fockerfest alone. Of course, they already had their WDW trip, so they didn't care. I guess if it was the only trip and you weren't bringing kids that could be sticky!

No ME stuff yet here, either.

MEL:banana:
maybe when the kids are a little older this would work, but they would like to go three times a year, or more!!
No, I'm totally kidding there. I just like to spice the boards up - in a clean way, of course! :rotfl:
sure:rolleyes1 ............... it was funny though!!! my dh is like , bring the bendaryl then!!!!:rotfl2:
:rotfl2:

Hope you manage to get it, I have heard quite a few people cancelling ADR's because they're canceling the whole trip so it may open up!
just curious, why are so many people cancelling??:confused3

::

I don't! :ssst:
that would be hard, since i would have to fly there, and would be gone a few days!!! i could make something up??? then you could just give me the mother of the year award permanently!!

gotta see this spread sheet!!

:rotfl2: . yeah it does scare me a little.... i usually don't even plan out what park i'm going to each day.
ACK!!! My eyes!!! My eyes!!! :scared1:

See, that drives me crazy too! I can't stand to have a huge pile of clothes and then have to figure out what to wear that day. :confused3 My handy dandy spreadsheet helps remind me what goes with what. Oh and I always wear those "questionably" fitting garments at the beginning of the trip - all those yummy desserts really do me in! :lmao: Now don't get me wrong, I have been known to veer from the spreadsheet - but for the most part it's really helpful. :thumbsup2

For the kiddos I do the same thing as LL - ziplocs and labels for their clothes. Each night I pull out a bag for everyone, do the ironing and lay the clothes out for everyone to change into in the AM. Saves me time and headaches. It's a mad, mad OCD world for me. :teeth:

no actually, it's pretty smart!!!:thumbsup2

i may try it this year!! send that spreadsheet this way girl!!

see i freak cuz i'm afraid i'll need something and didn't bring it, that's why i pack so much. but, the kids never, ever wear all those clothes!!
do you have something casual during day for kids then dressier at night for dinner??? that's where i pack sooo much. but we still never use it all!

See what CE said!

I think it's just the economy - people are not vacationing in general. We've had articles in the paper about the "staycations" lately.
It's the same here!!!!

ACK - You iron on vacation:scared1:
Nooooo OMG T :rotfl2:

okay , let me change that last post i made...............it's all a good idea t---- except the ironing!!! :lmao:

I would leave it as is Jo and then we get there we can just tell them that there were some last minute cancellations and they can sit us accordingly. Maybe they can push 6 tables table together and we can all just sit at one big table:confused3

OK, I'm really stressing now about changing my days. We didn't do much at DHS last year, but I'm thinking it would really be better to do that "not much" at a rope drop time rather than an after dinner time.

But it's still a limited time as my "switch" day would be the day we left, and it leaves us NOT doing our favorite park on our last day.

What to do??? I need help!

OK, I thought of one other option. We could do DHS the day we arrive. We don't get into WDW property until about noon, but that gives us "more" of a day there than after the water park would. I kind of feel weird not going to MK then until Friday night, 'cause it's our favorite, but...

I had us eating dinner that night at Chef Mickey's. I could keep that or try to switch it around. Our DHS meal was to have been at Sci-Fi, which I don't care about at all - just seemed like an OK TS option there for us.

What would you do?
