TFW Meet 2008 The Mission: Wiener Salad & Margaritas - Trip Report Links on Page 1

So my treadmill has been here nearly a week now. Tony finally put it together on Friday and I've been an exercising machine. I'm down exactly FOUR pounds this week, plus the 2.8 I was down last week!!:woohoo:

Love this thing.

Great job, LL! :cool1:

Jo's in the air! According to her schedule she should be landing at 3:20 Orlando time! :banana: :banana: :banana:

FM reminds me of Steely Dan. :thumbsup2
Ooo, I :love: Steely Dan!!!

I like the color of Flat Michelle's goggles.
::yes:: ALL of Leo's goggles are lime green!

We can exchange anti bacterial wipes:lmao:
:lmao:

I'm sorry I didn't send Leo goodies this time, but I hope you like the presents I sent you! :goodvibes
Don't be silly - absolutely nothing was expected, but I love my goodies - they're perfect! :hug:

remember girls...:teacher: you have to spend it to save it!
Today is NOT the time to provide me with this wisdom! :rotfl: See your email....

Hey, who's the next one to go?

Hey all guess what I am doing. Cleaning up all that last minute stuff at work becasue I took and extra day and ain't coming to work tomorrow:cool1: :cool1: So I am filling out all of the time sheets for when I am going to be out--UNTIL SEPTEMBER 10th.:yay: :yay:

I think LL is the next to leave on Saturday V, then Kat and then me:confused3

Okay, productive day...suitcase are down and airing out. Lists are being made. Yesterday I went to the dollar store for glow sticks and new shower scrubbies. I'm getting there!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How many kiddos are we talking about? 14?
Ladies, do any of you do the trip insurance, and can I still add it if you think I should? D has suddenly started asking me what happens in case of a hurricane... :confused: :rotfl:
14 was the last count on the kids I had Kate. Go back a page or 2 and Jo posted it.
I have never gotten trip insurance CE....Tell D there isn't even one forming anywhere:rolleyes:
CE, is he worried about the flights? If you can get there, WDW is an awesome place to ride out a hurricane. We were there in 2000 for Floyd and it was great. But I can understand if he's worried about the flights.
Thanks Janet. I think it's 14, too.
I think it's more about being there during one, so that's good to know, too. :thumbsup2
:lmao: CE - I have been checking the National Hurricane website daily. I am so paranoid. :rotfl: I'm not afraid of it hitting while there, I am been through my fair share of hurricanes, I am just afraid of one messing with our flights.
It really was great. I know that sounds crazy, but I felt very safe. The parks closed early the day it was heading in, but they provided all rooms with flashlights and had us fill our tubs with water (not that you'd want to drink that!). They reduced the price of food at the food court...I think everything was 50% off. We were asked to stay in our rooms all night, but we watched tv and they brought activity books for the kids.
By morning it had passed and they opened the park only to resort guests. Ever since, WDW has been my evacuation plan.
Wahoo..suitcases are out...:cool1:
I know, but we do still have a week. ;) Good to know - and you've always gone in August, right?
::yes:: HAve always lucked out and no hurricanes:thumbsup2
This is where my parents go if they have to evacuate:thumbsup2
Yes! WDW for Hurricanes. Bob and I arrived in WDW for our honeymoon just days after Andrew hit. WDW was the only place NOT decimated...
They wouldn't even let us take the highway SOUTH of there...
OK, Bob's in pain. Waiting on the Dr's call. He said he'll be at FF but he may not be an "action bob". LOL! :rotfl2: WTH is that, Bob?
SD's doing good today! Thank goodness. Only one crisis per day, please.
I'm getting the suitcases down today. Sitter is coming by to meet the kiddos and tour the house tonight. Gotta make some lists for her and start straightening things out so it's organized for her.
It's almost here, YAY!!! :banana:
Oh, and can you guys pencil me in on your spreadsheets? I'm going to be at Lapu Fest. AND please pencil in "FUNNEL CAKE WITH MEL 11am at Sleepy Hollow on Sunday"
Thanks girls.
MEL:banana:
If you want I can email you my copy of the itinerary and you can add you stuff and email it back to me. It won't happen until tonight becasue it is at home and I am at work
Knock on wood, I haven't had to put it in action yet, but WDW is an integral part of my hurricane evacuation plan! :thumbsup2
(Up to a Cat. 4. Past that, I'm heading for Nebraska. I don't worry about WDW not holding up in a 4 or 5 - I worry about trying to live in the chaos of FL afterward. I want to be OUT of the state if the Big One hits. :sad2: )
OK, Bob's in pain.
Oh no - what happened?
Ack.
Also, with me not paying attention to what he asked off, D is supposed to fly the Tuesday after our flight arrives at 10:45 p.m. Monday night. We'd best hope that one isn't delayed. :sad2:
