I have the toe strap Chacos -- I tend to wear flip flops and knew the strap wouldn't bug me. Plus, the strap that goes around the toe is very adjustable, so it doesn't strangle your toe. They do take some getting used to in adjustment - which strap to pull to get to tighten which strap.
ALSO - they have the two main sole choices.... I have the Colorado sole. I actuallly got to try mine on at a store and could test them out, and discovered that with my slightly flatter feet, the Terreno/Walkabout sole (that I originally wanted) has too much arch to be really comfortable. The sales guy told me it's because of the extra thickness in the sole, that it is stiffer, or something. The Colorado sole is more flexible and very comfy to me.
