I'm looking to buy a pair of sandals of our upcoming trip in August. I heard that Teva sandals are a good buy. I'm trying to consider heat and comfort. Which Teva sandal would you suggest?

Style preferences and sometimes even gender can make a big difference. They are very comfortable. I prefer the more expensive ones with the sports bottom, rather than the cushioned flip flop material (which is still excellent!). We've gotten some really great buys on Teva sandals at www.sierratradingpost.com. Be sure to check the Bargain Barn area. It can be hit or miss, but the hits are fantastic buys!!

I have the Teva Pretty Rugged leather and I also have them in waterproof nylon.

HERE are the leather ones. They are SO comfy but they aren't 100% waterproof. They take about an hour longer to dry then the nylon ones but still a GREAT, very comfy sandal. The above link is a good price. $59.97.

HERE is the nylon version for a decent price. $49.99. They have a few sizes. Most places are already running out though.

I have the nylon "pretty rugged" style. I LOVE mine and wear it all the time at WDW. They're just so comfy!

We are a Teva family and we love all the styles we have! We usually buy ours directly from the Teva site, but I've gotten some great deals off of Ebay also. We're addicted to them!

I have the nylon ones mentioned above and they were great during our WDW trip last Aug/Sep. In fact I wore them more than my sneakers. They're VERY comfortable and worth the money.

I have problems with one heel (Plantars Faceitis), and need support for my arch and heel, and these feel great. I accually have never paid so much for sandels but if I can be comfortable at DWD, all is well! I found mine on sale at Sports Athority.

I wore the TEVA flip flops and alternated with crocs. The TEVA's were just as comfortable and were a tad bit cooler! I never owned TEVA's before b/c I didn't like all the straps but I will get another pair of the flip flops in a heartbeat. Actually has arch support in them

tkitty, I think you responded to my question in another thread about the Crocs having/not having enough heel support. I am looking for a cool shoe for our upcoming WDW trip in September. We normally go in Nov. or Dec. However, free dining caught our attention and this upcoming trip is in the heat of September. So I am looking for a shoe that will be cooler than my New Balance tennis but still offer heel support because I have a heel spur. I need lots of cushion/support. Are you saying that your Teevas feel good on your feet even with your need for extra support in the arch and heel?
If so, I may look into the Teevas!

go with the teva pretty rugged...dont go with their base model...they dont have as much support as the pretty rugged. I need good support and you can tell the difference between the 2

This is my sixth year with my Tevas. They are absolutely perfect for WDW. Water doesn't hurt them--they practically dry instantly, and they are very cool and comfortable.

I agree that Tevas are wonderful for WDW and I have worn mine there many times. However, for our next trip I will be wearing my new found friends--Chaco's. To me, they are more comfortable and more arch support. Check them out.
