Do you wear these when it's raining in WDW? And are they slippery or good in the rain? I was planning on wearing mine and just saw the forecast for 70% chance of rain our first day. I've never worn these in the rain and was just wondering if they are good in the rain. I hate wearing tennis shoes!!!

Thanks in advance! I'm a newbie to WDW and especially the weather!

How does the tread look on the soles? Whether they are flip-flops or the sandals, you need to have a pair with good tread on the bottom. If they are worn down and smooth, then you'll slip.

I always make sure I have a good, fairly-new pair of Teva flip-flops when we travel and haven't slipped on wet walkways in WDW and on DCL.

I wore mine both in May and September and had no problems with slipping anywhere. But as hiroMYhero mentioned if they're worn through it might not go as well.

I have worn my teva mush flip flops on several Disney trips....rain or shine. Never had a problem in the rain....even when Tomorrowland area had a "river" running through it after an all day heavy rain in September. Much better than wearing tennis shoes and sopping wet socks! I have used the same pairs for 5 years and the treads are still holding up.

I wear Teva Tirras and they are great - I actually wear them IN pools and stuff, too, due to feet problems, and they wear so well and still look great!

The Tevas I have are the first shoe I've been able to wear an entire trip and not get a single blister, or any real foot problems.

i love my tevas!

if it even looks like rain, i have them on in the parks........

They work great in the rain. One of their models was called the guide and was meant for crossing rivers during the summer...

I have Teva's and Keen sandals and I like the Keen much better. They have a better foot bed for all day walking.

I wear my teva tirra in rain as well. They dry out pretty quickly.
I have worn them several times in the parks without any issues.

I'm another who has worn my Tevas mush all day every day at the parks with no problems. Even in an insane downpour and on drizzly days.

They're also the first ever flip flops I've been able to talk my DH into wearing. Last summer was the first time he'd ever worn anything but tennis shoes or dress shoes SINCE COLLEGE and now he loves his tevas, lol.

Do yall wear the flip flops or just the sandals in the parks? I have heard that they are comfortable, but I am unsure of whether or not the flip flops have the same rave reviews that the sandals do as far as walking all day in the parks is concerned.

We do the flip flops...Ours are mush 2s. I'm not a sandal person at all, so flip flops only here!

Thanks for the response. I'm not big on sandals, either. It just didn't look like the flip flops would offer much support. Glad to hear they do work great in the parks!

The original Mush flip-flops offer more support than the Mush IIs... you can find them on the Teva website.
