Still on the lookout for really good comfortable walking sandals...I ordered and received the Teva Stratum sandals and they are comfortable except for the ankle strap on one shoe ~ there is a tag there that seems to be irritating and I'm afraid it will cause problems. I found the Teva Guide Pro shoes online for a good price and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this particular style of Teva. They look very similar to the Chaco Z1 sandals which I know have been recommended. I just can't pay the $95 for the Chaco's. TIA! :sunny:

I'm in the same boat! Also looking for some good women's walking sandals. (I can't stand to wear tennis shoes and socks when it's hot out.)

I also saw the guide pro sandals and can't seem to find any reviews either. How much did you find them for??

they are $49.93 on www.REI.com ~ they are regularly priced about $90 so I think that's a good price. You can get free shipping if you have them ship to a store location, so when they come in I can compare them to the Stratums I already have. The good thing is you can return to the store if you need to so no return shipping costs.

Anyone else own these shoes?

I have a pair of Teva Women's Spoiler III's. They are the most comfortable shoes I have!!! I also don't like the way straps "rub" my feet on most sandals, but these are cushy and comfortable. I ordered them from onlineshoes.com for $59.95. I am very pleased with both the shoes and service from onlineshoes.

Mark this day on the calendar - I bought Teva flip flops for my 15 year old DD and she said they were ugly and they wouldn't be comfortable - GUESS WHAT SHE SAID TODAY - "Mom - you were right - these are comfortable" - couldn't believe my ears!!!!

:rotfl: I have a 15 year old DD too ~ I can totally relate!! Well, what do you know ~ you aren't really an idiot all the time!!

I bought the Teva flip flops for myself (love them) and when DD saw them she rolled her eyes at me!

If you go to www.zappos.com they have customer reviews of the shoes there. I bought a pair of Terra Fi's from REI and they are very comfortable.

Thanks for the info - one of the next things on my list is getting comfy walking shoes :flower:

I bought a pair of Keen Newport H2 from Zappos.com

Super supportive, super cool looking and way comfortable. I ordered a 1/2 size up...they were a bit pricey...$85 but they are so worth it. I know I'll live in these sandals for the next few years.

Zappos has free shipping and it only took 1 business day for me to get my keens. I was so excited and suprised.

They also have Tevas, tevas dont' have enough support for me.

Have the spoilers and really like them but keep going back to my Mush thongs. After wearing them you can't buy another pair of flip flops.
