I booked a package and put $300 down. My mother booked a separate package and paid in full.
She recently received a PIN (my name at her address). We were hoping to drop the two separate rooms and share one at a Deluxe.
Will I loose the $300 deposit by doing this or can it be applied to the new reservations in my mother's name?

I wish I could add the Jeopardy music to play while you read this.....

I know I could call Disney and ask but I honestly find you guys more informative and pleasant :cutie:

Won't the reservation have to be in your name since the PIN code is in your name? And it is my understanding that if you cancel outside of the 45 day window (for a package) that you get your deposit back.

I agree with the previous poster, the ressie would have to be in your name since the PIN is in your name. If you are outside of the 45 day window, they will either #1 refund your deposit or #2 transfer it to the new reservation. We overpaid on a ressie once and I was able to get them to transfer it to my husbands ressie, we have to book 2 for all our children one room in my name and one in his. It took a managers help but they were able to transfer my overpayment to his account since he still had a balance.

I called and the CM told me that I wouldn't have a problem using the PIN. He said since we would be travelling together there is no problem at all. I didn't do the change then (still looking at possibilities) but hopefully when I call back there will still be no problem :flower3:
