when you add a signature it doesnt effect old postes. I must have missed the memo

I believe that the answer to the question; "Does a new signature affect old posts?" is Yes and No.

I believe that you will find that all your posts in which you had a signature at any time will now have the new signature. Any posts that you posted without a signature will not be affected.

I don't know this for sure as I don't have a copy of the rule book but that is what it looks like to me.
