My DS6 enjoys 7DMT and I am thinking about introducing him into other rides this year. How has your experience with younger kids gone on TT?

My two both loved it when we were there last, they were just turned 4 and almost 7.

My niece went on TT at age 2 and cried because she had to wait in line again and couldn't just stay on to ride it again.
It really just depends on the child.
If he is tall enough and wants go go on then no reason not to try it out.

I have a hard time imaging a 6 year old being afraid of test track. It's as scary as being on the highway in a convertible

And yet my mom who met my dad the same week he bought his convertible and who's pick up line was "I haven't been for a ride in a convertible lately" white knuckles through TT lol.

My 4 and 5 year old kids are terrified of Radiator Springs Racers. It’s funny what kids are afraid of. What they don’t like are the dips and the airtime when they’re racing. Not so much the speed that Test Track has. My kids are also terrified of any roller coasters and the drops in Pirates. Each kid is different though.

My 5 year old was crying last year because she wasn't tall enough for Rockin Roller Coaster. She went on (and loved) everything she was tall enough to ride.

My 14 & 11 year old boys avoid anything with a drop. They loved test track at 4 years old but as they get older they don't like it. I also find it very jerky at times that it hurts my back, but I'm old haha.

We took my almost 5 year old daughter on it the end of Aug 2017. (She turned 5 the beginning of Nov) She is a dare devil. She loved it. I did have to keep reminding her to keep her head back. She likes to lift her head and it gets jerked around on the curves and stops. But that is something I remind her on all rides.

But you just never know what is going to upset little kids. She will ride anything, but freaked out on FOP because she was scared the glasses were going to fall off. She had to get taken out.

If they’re tall enough to ride, and want to ride, why hold them back? I may hate coasters but DD8 has always loved them and I never said no to any ride she was tall enough for because I don’t want my fears projected on her.
