We are going to Epcot Wednesday morning when it opens. We are planning to do TT and Soarin without FP+, which one should we go to first and how long will the line be for the second one we go to?

I haven't been to WDW this year, but from everything I've heard I would say do TT first and then Soarin. I hear that since Soarin added the 3rd theater, the wait hasn't been as long as in the past (in the morning, shortly after rope drop - I'm sure mid afternoon it would still be a long wait).

So you have a FP+ for either of these? or not?

Good catch. OP, my response was written under the assumption that you don't have FP for either (given the title of the thread).

Yes, the title and post are opposite, but you also can't have FP+ to TT and Soarin' so I am assuming the title is correct ... just clarifying so they get good answers.

OP, is it possible for your party to do Single Rider on TT? If so that would impact answers as well.

We did Soarin at rope drop today.
Then on to Test Track which was posted as a 60-minute wait.
We decided to do single rider and had about a 20-minute wait.

Sorry, I corrected the post. We don't have FP+ for either. Our tier one is for the Frozen ride. Single rider TT isn't an option. Our daughter is 7.

We were there a few weeks ago. We got there at rope drop, they actually let us in a few minutes early. We headed to Soarin' first. We were in line before they even started running the ride. The posted wait time was something like 45 minutes, but it really only was 15-20 minutes. After that we headed over to Test Track and rode single rider.

Test Track first then head over to Soarin. Soarin will have a wait time of 30 to 45 minutes but it will not be nearly that long.

If you are willing to do TT single rider then Soarin' first. Otherwise TT first then Soarin'. Given the holiday week, I think you may be looking at significant waits for the second ride.

Just did Soarin' last week without a FP. I hit it up around 11:30 - posted wait time was 45 minutes and I was on the ride in 36 minutes.

I'd do Soarin' when you arrive, then do Test Track single rider, unless you have kids that are too little. Even in the single rider line, you can stay together right up to the point you get on the ride, so you're apart only for the duration of the ride...about 5 minutes. Plus there's half a chance groups of two will get to ride in the same car, one behind the other.

after we used our FP+ for Frozen last Friday I was able to make FP+ for Test Track. Was a bit surprised I was able too. If the lines are longer than you want to wait, give it a shot. I was looking for FP+ while we ate lunch and there was Test Track later in the afternoon.

Yes, definitely this. Hit Test Track first for sure. Soarin' now has 3 theaters and it's really helped with wait times. Test Track still fills up really fast, and is weather dependent. If you can get to Test Track as soon as the park opens, or shortly after, the line for Soarin' standby should be less than 30 minutes. If you do Soarin' first, you'll likely wait 45+ minutes at Test Track. There's no guarantee either way, it could work the opposite of what I just said. But playing the odds, that's what I'd do.
