Mickeys Dreamers and DGH: DLP 2006 PART 5
CAST: I (Laura) and DGH (Disney Grumpy Husband)
IN: Jan 2nd Newport Bay Club
OUT: Jan 6th
TUESDAY 3rd of January (First full day at DLP, mid day break)
Le Noel de Mickey was the next in the pipeline; this is the last season of the show, so we didnt want to miss it. In fact the theatre needs a major refurbishment (or maybe to be replaced by something else), being so flat just the front lines can fully enjoy the show, while the rest of the theatre has very obstructed view, with lot of heads in front of you. So a grumping DGH went with me on the front to videotape (I can tape just a partial view of the stage from here! grumped DGH). I took pictures of my loved bears
BEAR
and of the rest of the show.
In spite of a reluctant DGH opinion, WE decided that after two warm shows, there was no reason to go back in the hotel for a midday heating, so we decided to remain in the park and to have a break in a counter service.
We tried to eat here but DGH decided to change restaurant
We went to Colonel Hathi: two pizzas and two bottled water for about 20 Euro (GRUMP grumped both of us)
Time for the Christmas Parade; we went in front of the Pizzeria Bella Notte where, as usual, there is almost nobody, so it was possible to arrive there at the last moment and still have lot of room to videotape and take pictures.
Time for shopping. DGH had lots of Grumpy stuff to choose from
TUESDAY 3rd of January (First full day at DLP, the evening)
We took place well in advance to take pictures and videotape the new Enchanted Fairytale Ceremony. Once again I exploited the feature of my camera to get nice pictures (point & click ! Its just point & click, grumps DGH)
The show was very nice but at the end we were frozen! Time to leave now.
Plan A was to have a LIGHT character dinner at Café Mickey.
So we went there and we were seated immediately. There was LOT of people, with almost no room to move among tables. While seating Geppetto and King John (from Robin Hood) crossed each others trying to pass over our table to exchange their position DGH succeeded in a short videotaping but I didnt had time to take pictures.
