Territory lounge?

It is just a lounge.
Here 's a link to a description of services.
Teritory Lounge

Maybe your thinking of:
Roaring Forks

We have eaten there many times and the food is acceptable for counter service fare at WDW. Maybe a notch or two above the counter service in the parks.

Actually I did see the menu on Deb's and that's what prompted my post. A burger for DH and nachos for me is an acceptable meal:teeth: I'll bet it's quieter that WC and the prices were good. Just didn't know if food and service were good. Another thing I just thought of is it smoke free? TIA again!

I wish I knew the answer to is it smoke free and is the food & service good... maybe someone here can answer that!
:D

It is not smoke free:(

We ate there last August. You can also order Aritist Point's famous berry cobbler from the pub! Yum. You have to ask for it - it's not on the pub menu.

We love the lounge for a drink and snacks in the evening. It is a very nice relaxing environment with good drinks, snacks and nice CMs. Also make sure to take a walk out to the dock to see the electrical water parade and then sit outside on the deck off the lobby in the rocking chairs and absorb the beautiful atmosphere of this resort. This lounge is definitly one of Disney's hidden treasures, IMO.

Florida has a clean air act. No-Smoking in any indoor public areas All Disney resturants are no-smoking.

My dh and I really enjoy Territory Lounge. Always able to sit. Decent seating. Service was always excellent. We would put the boys in the room with snacks and a movie and step down to the lounge for grown-up time. We had food there too, no complaints. Although, I have yet to find food at Disney to complain about. Magic is right, no smoking. Overall, nice relaxing atmosphere unless sports is on the TV.

We loved the lounge when we stayed at WL. You can order take out from the lounge, just ask. Much better than take out from Roaring Forks since it is prepared by Artists Point and less expensive than room service.

Enjoy :D

And do try the Honey Lager when you're there. One of the few "specialty" beers still available at WDW on draft.

I think the Nachos there are the best on property. They have a good chilli on them and are coverd in Tillamook (sp?) cheese. It is a great cheese from OR. It is a big plate of nachos. DH is a "big guy" and it was enough to split. (And save room for dessert!)

The drinks are nice and strong also. I nice way to relax after a day at the park.:rotfl:

I will agree with the good nachos, and the non-smoking, as we just did the Territory Lounge/nacho combo package a few days ago.
It is indeed a fine place to kick back, relax, and unwind. A couple of visits ago we also got a cheese and fruit plate, and that was very good. I am not sure if that is still on the menu.

Uncleromulus, thanx for the tip about the Honey Lager. I will be looking forward to that on our next visit...

UncleRoumulus - I'd have the red hook over the michelob :) I'm wondering if you are thinking about the old microbrew they used to have there. I always end up wishing they'd add a sierra navada pale ale or wheat because it seems like it would fit in the decor; or an angler's creek vanilla porter. Oh well. We go there usually a couple of times when we are at the lodge. It is cigar and pipe free; I'm not sure how the Florida statute impacted it, to be honest. They used to have smoking. No children at the bar itself which is good I think. We like the wings. We like the cheese platter. We'd probably just go downstairs to roaring forks for a pizza. Once I had a burger and I didn't like the cheese on it, it was like saucy cheese. They have a shrimp cocktail that was OK. We haven't had the nachos. I had potato skins there watching a football game and they were good. Territory lounge is a pretty easy going fun place. The bloody mary (pinecone) is good, they have knob creek and bookers for bourbon. You could get a burger or pizza or something like that for probably a little cheaper downstairs at roaring forks. Also, the have guiness outside at the trout pass pool bar but not inside at territory lounge (the draught cans), and they have bass in the fridge section at the mercantile store, but at territory lounge (the bass is a great deal). They are good barkeeps at the territory lounge, it really is a favorite place.

The thing is, territory lounge is NOT the service bar for artist point, but you can basically get anything from artist point or whispering canyon if you ask the right person the right way - those kitchens connect back there somehow.

I was unaware that you could get many of the items that other posters have mentioned:(

Next trip we'll have to try some of the offerings.

On the beer note, did anyone get to try the Sam Adams Seasonal at the FWF. It was WONDERFUL.

Thanks everyone! I think I may have just found a great new place. I'm not kidding, nachos or the other suggestions for me and a hamburger for DH is a great meal for us so this is great news! DH would have a heart attack in WC if anyone said boo to him, the atmosphere scares the living daylights out of him. We would love to eat at WC if not for that, as their menu is our kind of food. AP on the other hand is not really what we would eat and a little pricey. Thanks again everyone and I will take some of those tips.

I'm happy to hear there is no smoking now. When we were there in August, they were smoking all around us. Although it didn't stop me from getting that berry cobbler!

Melissathepooh:
I remember the microbrew they had--it think it was a "honey Wheat". But that's been gone awhile now. THis is actually MIchelob Honey Lager they serve now--on draft. Since I'm partial to Honey flavored beer, it's a winner. Red Hook is good, but a tad too bitter for me.
Oh would they offer a wheat beer!!! ONly place on property I am certain to be able to get it is at Big River grille.
Tiggerfreak:
Don't like "regular" Sam Adams much (too bitter and heavily hopped), but once in awhile one of their "seasonals" is pretty good. Also partial to their Strawberry Wheat...had some of that on draft in Gettysburg not long ago---.
