My DH and I have a lot of nick names for each other. Some are little "inside" jokes and some I have no idea where or why they started.

I call him Goofy or Goof, Sweetie, Dad, Honey, Schmoopsie-poo, Prince Charming...

He calls me Minnie, Babe, Honey, Momma, Googly-bear, Sleeping Beauty...

What are some names you and your SO have for each other?

My lawyers will not allow me to post it

My husband unfortunately calls me "Poop" sometimes.
He claimes it is from the movie "Throw Momma from the Train" which I have not seen.

By the way, OP I LOVE your sig picture!! I have a boston terrier too!

Let's see...DH will call me MeShee. That's a nickname I've had ever since I was a little girl. I call DH by his name or Hon. Nothing sickenly sweet.

I'm big on Honey....DH uses Baby, Sweetie or Darlin (love that Texas accent!! :lovestruc )

Poop!!! :lmao: I haven't seen the movie but that's a great name! :thumbsup2
And I have to confess, I don't have Bostons (I have two basenji's and a golden mix) but I just loved the picture! :teeth:

Darlin (love that Texas accent!! :lovestruc )

Darlin' doesn't sound right without a drawl...and then it's

DH and I use nicknames more than we do our real ones! We try not to do it in front of people, cause it really is rather obnoxious. :lmao: I usually get Sunny (my name is Sonia), Boo, Boo Bear, Baby Girl, or Sweet Thing. :goodvibes I generally call him Baby, Boo, Honey, Handsome, Sweety... nothing nearly as creative as the stuff he comes up with for me. :rotfl2:

that was my father's pet name for me. i always told people it was short for 'poopsie'-in reality it was because mom would'nt let him call what i was as a little kid-a little s---;)

We use all kinds of terms, nothing in particular either. We rarely use our first names in taking with each other. :confused3

We don't either anymore!!!

I think we get so used to calling each other Goofy and Minnie that it's almost second nature now.

I will admit I feel a little funny calling out to him in a store "HEY GOOFY!!":rotfl:

Of course, in some ways it's funnier when he answers!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Dh is Honey when I like him. Daddy when I'm referring to the dog as in "Go ask Daddy to take you potty, Mommy is busy cooking dinner" and Batman when I'm not happy with him (his name is Bruce Wayne C.) so I've been known to say "Smooth move there, Batman":lmao: He HATES that :rotfl:

He calls me either Sweetie or My Bride or Mommy (same reason as above).

He actually was hurt when I wrote his actual name on his toothbrush when I got sick of him using mine. I haven't called him by his name since we first started dating. He thought I was mad at him or something

He calls me either Boop or Jenoit. I call him Petenski or Boo.

Our son is named Storm (which you'd think would be the nickname), but for some odd reason my DH calls him Bob.

DH only has 1 or 2 "pet" names for me- Bumper or Bump.

I, however, have an almost never-ending supply of nicknames for him- Sweety, Mr. Muffin, Poopy, Sweet Boy, Bun, Pooky, Mookie, Punkin, Fluffy, Honey Bum, etc, etc, etc... He has pretty much learned to answer to anything. Same for DD- my current favorite pet names for her are Miss Fallulah, Pumpernickel, Muffin Bun, Bunhead, Baby Bug, Katrina Benina, Katie Bun, etc, etc.

:lmao:

DH calls me Mare or Hon. If he calls me MaryAnn, I know I'm in trouble (ie, "MaryAnn, how much was that check you didn't record?") I call him by his first name or Hon. :confused3 Nothing exciting. Oh...if he does something sweet, I call him a good little doobie. :)

My favorite is what I call my daughter (and I know I'll mangle the spelling, so I'll write it phonetically)

ma kush la (emphasis on the 2nd syllable)

It's Gaelic for sweetheart. I grew up hearing it, and so are my kids, and my sibling's kids.

I call my fiance "sweetie pie" sometimes but most often it's "honey."
He calls me "babydoll" all the time. Sometimes he uses "sweetheart" when we're in front of his parents. Oh, he also calls me "cutebutt" too.

We rarely call each other by our first name either. I refer to him as Daddy when talking with the kids. Like "Tell Daddy to pull the gum out of your hair".

But I also call him babe, honey and sometimes baby.

He calls me numerous things....mommy, same as with daddy, baby, honey, sexy, hottie and sometimes mama.

Sweetie pie or honey -- both of us use them for the other.

We do have a "term of endearment" when we feel the need need to flip the other the bird when kids are present.....We say "tweet tweet". Brings the "Let's all sing like the birdies sing" song to a whole new level.
