taken from Time Magazine online:
Texan Daniel Fleetwood is suffering from spindle cell sarcoma, and was given two months to live in July. “With everything I’ve got, I love Star Wars,” he told local NBC affiliate KPRC. But he doesn’t think he’ll survive until Dec. 18, when The Force Awakens will open in theaters.
Support for his petition to see the film early has gained followers on social media under the hashtag #ForceForDaniel, and stars from the movie like Mark Hamill and John Boyega have retweeted a post asking to “help spread the word” about his cause.
Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
