We finally got put into Disney's DVC system. It only took them about 7 business days to get us in the system which is far less than the 14 to 21 days it has taken other people. So hooray for us!

So imagine my surprise when I log on to our online account to find that of course nothing that we had originally planned for was available. This meant it was time to work some magic!

First things first I needed to figure out the wedding stay rooms. Greg and I are going down on June 28th so we can go to Broghan's wedding on the 29th. We are planning on staying in one room until after the wedding on July 2nd. We wanted to get rooms for my family for the 29th of June through the 2nd of July as well. So these were the first ones I went after.

I found we will all be able to stay at Old Key West! HOORAY! I am choosing OKW for a couple of reasons:
1. They have the biggest rooms in case we get ready there
2. It is close to DTD and my family can walk back after the reception or take a boat
3. It was available!

So the first part is booked for the following: 1 room 6/28-7/2 and 3 rooms 6/29-7/2 all studios at Old Key West. 4 nights here

I love the pool

The next part was the honeymoon. We originally wanted to stay 1 week at the Wilderness Lodge Villas and then 1 week at Bay Lake Tower with a lake view. Well this was not available consistently due to the 4th of july holiday and some other things I am sure. So now I was off to figure out how this was going to work with the different dates that were blocked out. At this point I said to myself ok...we are definitely split staying! :rotfl:

So due to black outs around the 4th of july holiday I decided the best choice would be to stay somewhere from the 2nd to after the 4th when availability opened again. So for this part we booked the following:

Saratoga Springs Resort Studio for 7/2-7/5, 3 nights here

The next part was easy thank goodness! :worship:

Villas at the Wilderness lodge Studio 7/5-7/10, 5 nights here

Then for some reason all the resorts were blacked out again on the night of the 10th and the 11th....:confused3 So I had to find somewhere for from the 10th to the 12th. Luckily Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani was available! So we booked the following:

Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village Studio Savanna View 7/10-7/12, 2 nights here

Now it was time to get the one resort that Greg really wanted Bay Lake Tower. Of Course we would have loved a magic kingdom view but that was not going to happen but we were able to get a lake view room. So we booked the following:

Bay Lake Tower Studio with a Lake View 7/12-7/16, 4 nights here

And that is the close of our honeymoon stay! Needless to say there will be an awesome trip report for you with lots of resort pictures!

Sorry to hear about your original choices not being available. =[ =[ Not cool.

But you did beautifully with what you got! It's gorgeous. I love, love it. So happy for you. Cannot wait to see pictures and all that fun stuff. The Wilderness Lodge is definitely on the top of my list as well as Bay Lake. Hopefully we get our DVC shortly after the wedding and I can use it when we got in Nov 2013! ;D

Yay! How many points do you have btw?? I'm just curious. if you don't mind. =]

OK so the amazing victoria or vickixo I believe on the boards has finished designing my wedding invitations.

First of all let me just say that she is amazing! If you get the lucky experience of having her do your invitations she will make them just perfectly for you and quickly. She goes through many many drafts and you really get to feel like you are a part of the process. She made my save the dates and my wedding invites and I could not be happier!

So here we go on what they look like as I am sure you all want to see.

Details:
Design: Victoria from the DIS
Printing: Will be done by cards and pockets
materials: have not been purchased yet that information will come as soon as I decide. Right now I am going between cards and pockets, lcipaper and paper and more.

Preview Image:

This is my primary inspiration for my pocketfold and the colors that I will be using

Main Invitation Card:
delgado_invite_5x7_FIX.jpg

This will be matted on purple matte which will then be attached to the black pocketfold

Times Guide:
delgado_timeguide_35x65_FIX.jpg

Many of you may recognize this design. She made it to resemble the times guides from the parks and it gives the layout of the entire wedding event.

Front of Response Postcard:
delgado_rsvp_375x6_front.jpg

So here is the part the guests fill out for the RSVP they can indicate their meal and then also what events they will be attending. This is a postcard so no envelope will be needed.

Back of Response Postcard:

This is postcard side that already has our names and address on it and it will have a stamp all they need to do is drop it in the mailbox.

Park Tickets Card:

This next card is going to have information on pricing for park tickets with our group rate discount

Accommodations Card:
delgado_accommodations_375x45.jpg

The last page has information about the accommodations in the room block.

As I was looking at this the only card I think I am missing is one on where we are registered and also the wedding website information again....

Do you think I need this extra piece?

The pocketfolds will be closed with a purple belly band I am not sure what the seal will be just yet.

I hope you like them.

Teresa

Very cool invites! I like to meal choices, so cute!

You are staying at 4 different resorts for your honeymoon?? That is a lot of packing and moving but it is nice that you will get to have 4 different mini vacations.

Your invites are so fun!! I think my favorite part is the meal choices!! Is that crab, chicken, and another type of fish? too funny!!

If you dont mind my asking, did you set up something separate for group tickets or are those the prices with the 20% off and I just don't realize it? :)

Also, not sure if you wanted it that way, but they say 11 o'clock in the afternoon... I'm sure you're aware 11 is before noon, so they would traditionally say 11 o'clock in the morning? Assuming your guests won't think you're getting married at 11 o'clock at night! ::goodvibes

The times guide looks GREAT too!

You're going to have so much fun at the resorts you chose! And your invitations look amazing. I really love the logo and the subtle paisley. A card with your registry info would probably be helpful just as a reminder to your guests. :)

Teresa, those are SO awesome! The meal choices are super creative, and just the whole vibe is fun :goodvibes

Sweetie, I really love the invites. Very cool (just like you)!!

This is what I was going to suggest as well!

Everything looks great!! :thumbsup2

[color="book antiqua"]Your invitations are amazing. It makes me wanna share mine! lol. But I'm waiting until I get them all assembled. heh.

I really like the invites!!! Victoria did an amazing job and those colours go so well together! I love the little icons of the chicken, the crab, and the fish When are you going to mail them out??

I love your invites! And great room choices: although, I hope you like Bay Lake Tower more than I did! :goodvibes

Ooooh, Teresa--I LOVE your invites! I love that the layout is so easy to read and go over. The entree choices are super cute, too! :thumbsup2

That's going to be a lot of packing but how cool to stay in so many resorts.

The invites are amazing, like everyone else I love the little pix of a crab, chicken and fish. I think you need to change it to 11 in the morning though.

Teresa all your plans look awesome. Love the invites, they sort of remind me of the guide maps of the park which I save all the time. Animal Kindgdom is definitely a resort that I would love to stay at some point in my vacationing travels.!!! Sounds like a little fun to hotel hop!
