WOW you look STUNNING in your dress!!!!

Your invites etc are amazing

With the confetti will it stain your dress at all??

You look amazing in your dress!!! It is so pretty. I'm glad you were able to work out all the little issues that were going on with it:) I love your shoes too. Looks like you have been really busy getting everything all set. Your save the dates came out really great :)

Your dress is so stunning on you! And I love the pop of color shoes, very fun! The peacock feather if you add it will make them even more special!
The STD's came out great, they fit the theme very well! You're really in full swing now! :goodvibes

I am way behind, but I am caught up now. I had the same idea about how to set up Crescent Terrace! Since I have never been there, I am excited to see how it will turn out for you. I think it's a really neat idea.

Your dress is beautiful! Looks like you are making good progress!

Aww, darn! I'm gonna have to look up the shoes now, since curious minds are curious ;) I made Doug's day today by telling him I want to watch SW again. He's thrilled that I loved them - and that I'm fine with him using the Imperial March in the ceremony :)

Too bad it isn't possible to rearrange the country. That way we could all be closer to FL and it wouldn't cost a fortune to get down there. :rotfl:

well the shoes were going to be custom designed so I don't even know what they would have looked like. Oh good I am glad that you want to watch them again! That is such a great song!

Love the dress and the shoes!!!

I think your paper is just super fun! Can't wait to see them complete and printed!

I think we're doing the bio. confetti too! I can't wait to see how yours turns out!

The favor idea is super cute! I've seen that at a few weddings and the guests always like the little pots!

And, I really love the table numbers and character assignments- so fun!!

So glad that you like the ideas and thank you for your help with the shoes when I was shopping.

no the confetti won't stain it. It is what they use in movies for fake snow. It does not melt away unless there is water on it. So it should be fine. Thank you for the compliments on the dress

Thanks Ashley. Things are really starting to get really rolling now.

Hey tricia, I am glad you like the dress and the shoes. I like having that pop of color. I am definitely going to add a peacock shoe clip. It feels good to be so close I can not wait to marry him.

Oh I am glad someone else has thought of the same idea that we did. Hopefully it will turn out really great.

I love the idea of fondue! I'd probably do #2 (plus, it's cheapest and sounds like you really get a lot for that price!). My second choice would be #5, as you really can't go wrong with ice cream sundaes and chocolate covered strawberries!

I love your dress. I am dreading going dress shopping. Are you making up the mad libs for the fan yourself? That sounds so fun. For dessert, I like 2 and 4. Both sound so yummy!

-Congratulations on moving the wedding date up!
-1900 Park Fare looks like a great breakfast. I know my Grammy loves it.
-Love the pictures of Crescent Terrace. I also don’t understand the whole “bride’s side/groom’s side” thing.
-Petticoat Faire! Great name.
-Oh your dress looks lovely.
-Love the peacock feather on the shoes!
-The STD is great too!
-I think I like Menu 2 as well. Although, we had root beer floats and sundaes at our DP and they were a HUGE hit.
Okay, all caught up.

Sweetie - Loving the dress and the shoes!!

I really like the sound of all of the menus, and I love chocolate fondue, but I keep thinking that it may be a bit messy with all the guests dressed in their finery!!! I know if it were me, I would have chocolate all down my front in no time at all!!

I LOVE fondue too, and would also probably end up with it on me! :rotfl:

I like menu 2, but I would like the dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. But I also love chocolate covered strawberries. :headache: Oh, you have a hard decision to make, they all look so good!

So I didn't really add anything helpful

You know me I love the fondue options, so #2 sounds best to me!! fingers crossed you can get the bananas foster for greg too :thumbsup2

Personally, I like Menu 2. It's a nice variety and mix.

It is a good variety I agree

I just love everything!

I like menu 2 as well.

looks like 2 votes for menu 2

I'd do menu 3 or 4!

of course you would you like your sweets! :)

We had such a blast. I love fantasia and I loved the theming of the putt putt course. My favorite hole was the hole with the mushrooms from the nutcracker suite that danced to the the russian song. This was actually a very hard hole but it was such a blast. Here are some pictures from putt putt.

Once we were done we walked back to the S/D and decided we would walk the boardwalk and check in at some of the resorts to see decorations. Our first stop was in the Boardwalk Inn neither of us had been to this resort before so we had some fun walking around. We stopped and saw the Stitch Bakery and the gingerbread stitch and donald. It was so great and my favorite one. How could it not be it had stitch and donald in it and these are our favorite characters.

We went into the shop next to the boardwalk and we met the most amazing cast member. She saw our just engaged buttons and wanted to know where we were from, how we met and how we got engaged. She then asked if we were getting married at Disney and we told her the plans. She was so interested in our plans and who were she wanted to get to know us better. She then asked if she could give us some advice. Her advice was this “always work through everything” She told us about her and her husband and how long they have been married and how things have not been easy. She started to get teary eyed as she said the following: The hardest part of marriage is staying the course. Marriage is hard and the easy thing to do is run away and get a divorce. So many people do that because they don’t want to work. Talk to each other about everything and talk through your problems. Communicate with each other and see the other’s point of view. Promise each other to not give up on one another and to believe in each other. If you love each other then working through your problems will be the most rewarding thing you can do. Once she was done she was almost about to make me cry. She gave us her blessing and said she wants to see us again as a married couple. It does not get much better than that.

At this point we were now hungry again so we stopped at the pizza window on the boardwalk. I went and sat down and there were all these little hoppie birds all over the place it was kind of funny. Greg got us some food and we sat down to eat. We have determined that we do not have to buy two drinks when we get counter service anywhere because we just share one and it is just enough for both of us. The pizza was good and it is amazing how food can suddenly make you feel better.

We walked to the beach club now and the first stop was the pirate ship. I had never been on it before so I wanted to at least look at it. From there we walked through the pool area which I might add is ridiculously awesome! We then went to the lobby so that we could see the carousel. Once we got there a Disney cast member that was in the lobby asked us if we were going to have a Disney wedding. We told him yes and he asked where it was so we told him and his response was, “well that is not a disney wedding you can’t even have mickey mouse there.” I responded with “yes you can and it is a disney wedding it is on property” and his response was “well mickey would not want to go he would send Donald or pluto in his place”. I am not sure if he was playing around or if there was some seriousness to it.

We then walked to Epcot through the international gateway. We went straight to mission space after taking some photopass pictures and we went to the Red Planet Room. Greg is an HP employee so we have access to this room which was pretty fun. I actually posted on the Dis from the room.

Once we were done at the Red Planet room we got taken down an into the line for mission space for the orange line of the ride. This is Greg’s favorite ride in EPCOT because he loves space and flying. After this ride even though I have ridden it before I did not feel very good. The sinus pressure in my head increased dramatically and I had to sit down to let the pressure subside. Poor Greg he felt bad because he did not mean to make me feel bad by going on the ride. I never get sick on any kind of thrill ride so I am blaming it on allergies and sinuses.

After that we walked around for a bit and then we left EPCOT and wandered back over to the Wilderness Lodge. I was in a very snack happy mood but just was not sure what I wanted so we stopped in the Roaring Fork and I got some french fries. We just took some time to relax and watch some TV before heading out to the Grand Floridian to re-visit Narcoossee’s for the first time since we had our first date there.

Dinner was good and I really like our waiter we had an awesome cheesecake it was almond and so good. Seriously it was phenomenal!

We walked to the boat launch from the Grand Floridian and went over to the Magic Kingdom so that we could watch Holiday Wishes from inside the park. When we got there it was parade time. I parked myself by a ledge so I could put some stuff in my backpack when a cast member came up to me and very rudely said you can’t stand here you have to keep walking. I told her I am putting some stuff in my backpack and then I will move. She said to me no you have to move right now. I was getting irritated now because I really was in no one’s way I was off to the side in a corner so I barked at her to get away from me and I would move when I felt like it. She left me alone after that. I felt a little bad but at the same time I really was not in the way AT ALL.

We weaved our way around all the parade watchers to find a space to watch wishes near the restrooms going towards tommorowland terrace. Holiday Wishes was very beautiful and some of the things they did with the castle were so cool. I still love Hallowishes the best followed by regular wishes.

After all of this we went and rode the Jungle Cruise which is always so much fun at night and I really liked our cruise guide. If I worked a ride I would love to work that ride.

After a long day it was time to go to sleep so we went back to our room and it really did not take long for us to pass out!

It was great to get all the wedding planning done and now in hindsight with moving the date up I am so glad that we did it. We probably will not be able to go for a planning session now but that is ok I will just have to trust Diana to do an amazing job.

Day 3 is coming up!

May the force be with you

Teresa

You guys sound like you have so much fun on your trips hopping from park to park and resort to resort! How sweet of the CM who gave marriage advice, I love hearing marriage advice from people who've been married for a long time. The CM who said you can't have Mickey & Minnie at a Swan/Dolphin wedding was WRONG! Several swalphins have already had M&M and I asked Karen a few mos back and she said absolutely and gave me the phone # to call. So Boo for that CM.

I think he was just being bunch of inappropriate words. He knows that swan and dolphin get the same treatment you could tell he knew it. He was being a disney snob.
