Teppanyaki???

Ok I need to know before I make ADRs here. Am wondering if this is anything similar to Mongolian Grill that we have here in Canada? Need to know if my son will eat there. We both love Mongolian Grill and if this is similar we would like to book an ADR.

Is anyone farmilar with both could you shed some light on this for me?

Hi,
At Teppanyaki, you will be eating with other diners - the tables seat 8 people. You are actually seated around the grill and the chef cooks your dinner in front of you. We've been a couple of times - we found that sometimes the chefs are quite entertaining and sometimes not so much. The food was good. We ate there last fall on the dining plan and I was so full by the end of the meal. I've only eaten at Mongolian Grill once, but I would have to say that Teppanyaki is more to my liking. I would think that if your son likes the food at Mongolian Grill, he will probably enjoy Teppanyaki. Not sure when your trip is planned, but I believe that restaurant is going to be closed for 2 or 3 months. Hope this helps.
