My wife just told me that she would like to eat in the Japanese pavillion on our upcoming trip. I would love to take her to Teppanyaki, and I know we would both enjoy it. Here's the issue: we are traveling with our 4 daughters, ages 11, 9, 8, & 5. A couple of them might eat from the menu there, but I don't know if I want to risk $10+ each to find out. So, should I let them get something CS somewhere else and just eat dessert while we eat our dinner, or does anyone have any other suggestions?

We just got back there Saturday and ate there with my 2 and 5 year old.

They have a chicken tempura which is like chicken deep fried. My 2 year old had a few bites, any older kid I think would eat it.

My 5 year old ate 3 cucumber sushi rolls he loves it.

They have rice you can also get if they will eat that.

The other dinner where they cook on the table is very cool. Both my kids like that.

The service there was WONDERFUL they gave my 2 year old chopsticks who then stabed his chicken and dropped it they promptly replaced it.

Germany is said to have a great dinner for kids. If you want someplace else.

We took 4 of our daughters there in Nov. 2004. At the time they were 15, 13, 7, and 5. They all loved it. A couple of them are pretty picky eaters but they still loved it. They all found something from the menu where they cook it in from of you. Even my youngest, who is very picky and doesn't eat much, ate a good bit. She loved the fried rice and the chicken and shrimp. I was surprised they all ate as well as they did. We will definately be eating there on our trip this November. Can't wait!

We will be eating there in 17 days!!!!

My daughter loves the whole cook at your table thing. She is 5 and thinks that it is the best thing to do. It actually keeps her out of trouble I think. :goodvibes

Our family ate there and we all loved it. I actually think that it's a great place for picky eaters becuase you can basically order beef or chicken or shrimp or scallops and it's all pretty simple. You might want to have some of the kids share a meal. I think the portions are pretty big.

Our favorite restaraunt in Epcot and same with our kids. My 2 year old DOWNED the ginger salad, couldn't believe it. They also loved the chicken and vegetables. We're going back. Entertainment was nice, kept the kids entertained while we enjoyed a delicious meal!!! Have you considered the dining plan, would save you lots.

I agree with everyone ... we've taken our three kids there for two years ... the first time they were ages 4, 6, and 8 ... and all three did fine at Teppenyaki and they are so picky with food. They ate rice, chicken, and tried things because SOMEONE else cooked it in front of them!!! They liked the dessert too.

I don't think this would work, as eating at Teppanayki takes quite a while.

This is a restaurant your kids will probably like and they should easily be able to find something they'll eat, even picky eaters. Most kids will eat plain chicken or steak.
