Teppan Edo question

Hello! We are considering eating at Teppan Edo next time we visit Epcot (presumably this December). I think my son who will be 7 at the time, will think it's really cool. Here is my question. My whole family HATES onions. No, I mean, really hates them! DH, ME and DS. All the photos I have seen of Teppan Edo show them making an onion volcano. It's awesome, but we are not eating that!

I'm fine if they make one in front of us, but does all the food have onions? I know it's silly, but YUCK!

The veggies they serve include the onions. The onions are not in the meat, fish, or noodles.

If you really dislike them, just ask for them to be excluded from your portions of veggies. Maybe they can just prepare your veggies without the onions.... doesnt hurt to ask them.

im pretty sure they will make your noodles without the onions. Its very easy for them. So dont worry. thats pretty much the only dish that has onions. The meat or rice doesnt have onions. .......im totally opposite of you, I LOVE ONIONS! The more the better! haha!

I too HATE onions.....ewwwww

We have a very similar restaurant in town and We always ask for no white onions. They have always accomodated, they just cooked our veggies seperate from every1 elses.

Im sure being Disney they will be just as accommodating

I would def ask the resturant before you make reservations. My DH is not a fan of that style of cooking. And the onions don't help. He often says, no onion, but gets them anyway.

You won't have any problem asking for no onions. And the food is cooked right in front of you so you can easily see if the chef makes a mistake and puts them in. Just tell him/her and you'll be fine.

I can't agree with you more!! My entire family hates onions too, and we have an ADR for TE in June. Hoping we can just ask for it without them (and still see the volcano )

DH hates mushrooms so politely asked for no mushrooms - not a problem at all. The man from the other party seated at our table also asked for no mushrooms.
