Teppan Edo question

How are the udon noodles served at Teppan Edo?

Are they grilled? Plain?

Joe loved the udon noodle soup from the Yakitori House, and we were hoping maybe Teppan Edo is serving the same thing?

The noodles were grilled iin conjunction with the rest of the meal. A few weeks ago they chopped and sauted onions and zuccini together with the noodles. They served this with the meat and chicken we had ordered which was grilled simultaenously but a bit separately. It was served with white rice and 3 dipping sauces.
I hope that makes sense.
We loved Teppan Edo. The food was great, the atmosphere is great, and the decor is beautiful.

Would we be a real pain to the chef and other guests if we asked for stuff cooked plain? Joe would like the rice, noodles, meats, etc. as long as he can pick around any chunks of vegetables.

Not that we've had the opportunity yet to eat here we used to eat in the *old* restaurant 2-3 times per trip. We've seen many many people request certain items to be cooked plain, to be cooked separately, to be cooked other various ways. Sounds like things are much like they were before and you should have no problem making a special request (which isn't really all THAT special.....doesn't sound like a bit pain to me anyway LOL).

Have fun! We're looking forward to eating here too and seeing if it's still as wonderful as ever!
