Teppan Edo - Experience if Only Small Party

Is there any table side cooking if our party is only 3 people?

Great time in 2008 with large group so we were seated in one of the separate rooms with the grill and fancy cooking, etc... What is it's only 3 people?

Will they seat us at one of those large tables as part of another small group? Will they seat us in the open dining room? Any table side fancy cooking there?

They only have the large tables with the teppenyaki grille. With your party of 3, they will seat you with another party of 4 or 5.

They do have a "party" room in the back, a very large party might have been seated there. A party of three will be seated at the hibachi table with other parties.

Yes you will be seated with other people at the hibachi tables where they cook in the middle of the table. We were a family of 4 last year and we were seated with another family who had either 3 or 4 people (can't remember for sure).

We were seated in one of the small rooms in the back in October. There were only 3 of us and a party of 5 was seated with us. It is a lot easier from a service standpoint to have people seated together than to have the chefs cook for several smaller parties.

I am sure it depends on how busy they are too. If there are not many people dining you probably have a better chance at sitting alone.

I personally have fun meeting new people, it is a fun experience

I went with just my daughter and we were seated with two couples, one had two children, and the other were there by themselves. I was excited about meeting new people and tried striking up a conversation, that didn't happen at all. The family that was there was a little bit....I'm not even sure of the word. They weren't rude, but the parents were a bit disgusted with the thought of eating vegetables (their kids ate them though) and asked if the "show" could end so that the food would be cooked. I don't know, my kiddo and I enjoyed ourselves and really liked the food, but I hope the next time around, we're able to sit with a fun table.

We have always been seated with others except the time we had 8 in our group. Even as a party of 6 we were seated with a couple. Normally it wokrs out quite well. Most recently we had an awful couple with us, but we like the place enough to risk the occasional bad tablemates.

you'll have the same experience if you're a party of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6
They'll sit you with another smaller party on the grill.
It was mine and my boyfriends fave meal of our last trip.

I think I remember seeing a dining area with regular tables without the grill. When we came up the steps, it was to the right of check-in. And there was a long hall to the left where all the rooms with the grills were. I'm wondering if the dining are to the right was teppan edo or something else - I don't remember seeing grills over there. But I could be mistaken.

We were a party of three when we went in October and sat with a nice family (grandparent, parents, 2 kids) it was great... they were very nice... had nice coversation with them and saw them in the park later... it was gret making a new "friend"

There two separate restaurants in the Tokyo pavillion....Teppan Edo is to the left with the hibachi tables and then there's the sushi restaurant which is the area to the right.....that's what you saw on your last visit.

This is our traditional first night location. Love it, and have always been seated with other guests. Have never had a bad time, and once, years ago, we were seated with Tony Danza, so, you never know!
