Teppan Edo - Can we share?

If we are on the dining plan - can we share an entree? I know my son will probably only eat some chicken from here since he is picky - if I get the steak and chicken combo - can he just eat some of my chicken?

I believe you would each have to use a TS credit but once you have your meals, you can share some with him and vice versa. I don't think they would let you order 1 adult TS meal and then let you share with your son. They give you a bowl of rice, noodles, veggies etc and everyone gets a portion split by the whole table.

We just went a few weeks ago, my son ordered the kids chicken. If you didn't use your son's kids TS, you would just wind up with an extra TS at the end of your vacation.

During the Christmas holidays in 2014. We have encounter a local couple on a honeymoon splitting one adult meal. It was very odd, and the teppan yaki chef was a bit confused. To all other diners, it was an odd sight to see. However, we have never ordered for our toddler son (currently 4 years old). He just shares from the two of us.

Yes, maybe if your not on the dining plan but if OP is on the dining plan, best to order son a meal.

Thanks everyone - yes we are on the dining plan - my son will not eat anything else but maybe try the chicken - which is why I was thinking of letting him eat some of my chicken and then we will get him something later (He is considered a Disney adult - 10). I just don't want to waste food that I know he most likely won't eat

i have heard--to my surprise--that you can share at Teppan Edo. You could always just pay cash for your son to have a kids' meal. I think my kids got a "monorail meal" it was served in a monorail vessel and it was just white rice and chicken on a kabob, if I remember correctly. It was a long time ago, and like $10.
And, it included a drink. He's 10, not 17. No one will give you a problem.
