Teppan Edo and an almost two year old?

Anyone ever go to Teppan Edo with an almost two year old. We have one last restaurant to choose and DH would like to eat here but I'm nervous about having a small child so close to a hot grill. Any advice?

The grill is far enough away from you. As long as you 2 year old does not climb up on the table you should be fine. Every kid is different so if you think your child can tolerate a 1 1/2 hour meal with some fun entertainment, then go for it!!!!

We had a very small child in a high chair sitting at our table and it was no problem at all. He was placed towards the center and there was really no way he could get anywhere near the grill unless he crawled out of the chair, onto the table and across the plates.
You should be just fine. I was worried about my 4 y/o too, but there was no issue at all. It was great entertainment!!

Unless you're going to allow the child to climb onto the table it shouldn't be an issue. High chairs are always placed out of reach of the grill.

We head to the World alot and go to Teppan Edo every time. My daughter was 8 months, 20 months and 26 months when we eat their and she did fine. She actually really enjoys the show! Have a great time!

Every kid is different so if you think your child can tolerate a 1 1/2 hour meal with some fun entertainment, then go for it!!!!

Does this meal actually run an hour and a half, if it does there is no way my son can last that long??
