Does anyone know if there are tents allowed at the cabins? We would like to let the kids tent camp if possible.:) :)

There really is no place at the cabin sites to pitch a tent - unless you put it on the deck or out in front where you would ordinarily park your car. You might want to call the front desk to see if they even allow a tent at the cabins. The number is 407-824-2900.

I don't believe there is any camping equipment allowed at the cabins.

That's because cabin people aren't campers.

but they are higher on the list than the cabing people. cabin people are disgruntled contemporary/polynesian folk.

True... :) While I always wanted to stay in FW as it looked like a fun place, I actually never got around to it. We'd visit, go to the HDDR, the stables, but we just never got around to looking into the accommodations.

The smoking policy changed our mind. We decided to try the cabins in January and loved them.

That said, we had just about abandoned staying on property at all. I have status with Hyatt and am treated royally at the Grand Cypress which includes a free upgrade to their concierge level.

So, when we feel like staying on-site for whatever reason, we'll be staying at the cabins. When we don't, we'll be at the Hyatt.

Oh now thats just not fair :confused3 We stay in the cabins as we can't tow a caravan from the UK (believe me if we could, we would)
or are we not welcome anymore :sad1: :sad1:

my bad. the UK cabin people are allowed to be campers..... although you could put a camper on top of the 747 like they used to do with the space shuttle.

:goodvibes Thats OK then lol:goodvibes Think we may have one heck of an excess baggage charge :rotfl2: we will have to devise some sort of sign to depict that we are displaced campers :hippie:
