Hey, guys. So my family's going to DLR in October and we're thinking the first week, hoping for lower crowds. We'd really like to see Fantasmic!, but we're going to get Annual Passes at the end of this trip, so we can always see it another time.
Our tentative schedule is(edit: We definitely don't want to go over gay days, so this is the new tentative schedule):
October 5th(Monday): Arrive in the afternoon, check out Downtown Disney and take it easy this night.
October 6th(Tuesday): Go to Disneyland MM.
October 7th(Wednesday): Go to ToonTown Morning Madness. If we couldn't get those tickets, we'd go to CA early this morning.
October 8th(Thursday): TOT Party this night. Possibly head to ToonTown first thing if we don't end up getting the special tickets.
October 9th(Friday): Either wake up early and hit the rides depending upon how we're feeling, or sleep in this day. Main objective of this day is to see Fantasmic.
October 10th(Saturday): Head home.
Does this seem like a good, realistic plan? This is our first trip in several years, and we're hoping it'll be a great one! Also, we really liked Fantasmic! last time we went and want to see it again this first trip, but we're wondering if we should just head home on Friday.
My other question is the best deal on getting tickets. We'll need four day parkhoppers. We want to get the best deal possible, and we're going to upgrade to Annual Passes on this trip. Do we upgrade them on our last morning going to the parks, October 8th? And then head into the park like usual? Do they allow this? Where should we buy the tickets? The perks I'm interested in are getting are Magic Morning, and ToonTown Madness. Can we get that by just buying tickets? We also have AAA. Do they sell tickets?
On the Disneyland website it says you can only get ToonTown Morning Madness by buying a complete package.
I also see you can buy ToonTown Morning Madness tickets on eBay. Are those legal? I wouldn't mind buying them, if they were legal and would work.
We're probably going to stay at the Fairfield Inn. How long is the walk, on average, from this hotel to the gates of Disneyland?
Also, does anyone know how long it takes to get the Disneyland Planning DVD? We're going to be moving around a bit these next few months, and are wondering which address we'll need to send it to.
Four to six weeks? Four to eight weeks?
Thanks so much, you guys, for putting up with all my silly questions. I really appreciate it!
