The last time I visited (in 2016) I got vertigo and fell three times in Epcot due to nausea and dizziness and then rented a wheelchair and vowed never to go again! Now my daughter has offered me a 10 day trip with a wheelchair rented from one of the many companies that do that. I have since been diagnosed with Ménière's disease which explains the vertigo which is so much worse in the extreme heatIf I stay at All Star Movies can I just fold the WC for the bus?I won't need the chair all day, just when I get "shaky" Will there be a place to store it? If a waiting line for a ride is long enough with no fast pass can I wait in the chair until I am in a covered area? My granddaughter (14) is bipolar and thinks I should fine.

You certainly may fold the wheelchair and take a seat on the bus. I recommend pushing it up the back door, as that will give you time to fold the chair and settle in a seat.

As for moving around the park, I'd recommend that you push the chair when not riding in it - use it to carry your bags. Any place you might store it (basically only the wheelchair/ECV rental near the front) could be a long ways back at the time you decide you need it. It can be parked in stroller parking if you are sure you won't need it in line.

I'm going to move this to the main disABILITIES Forum where it will get more views and responses.

Enjoy your vacation!

As fair as storing it do you mean like for a few minutes while you walk around the area or go in a short line. Yes you can park it somewhere close by

We rent a wheelchair at Disneyland for my Mom (ecv for WDW). My Mom can do some walking but cannot go all day. When she wants to walk, I let her push the empty chair. It gives her something to hold onto for balance and means the seat is always with us when she needs it. We push it empty through a lot of lines, but it also means we have it as soon as we need it.

in would keep chair with you in line. what would happen if something happens and line ends up moving slower than you plan? you would have a place to sit anytime you need. I say this all the time if you need glasses to enjoy the parks would you not wear them because someone might laugh at you? of course not, think of the chair in the same way you need it to enjoy the park. and yes I have had to use an ECV at times to enjoy the park. go on your offered trip and enjoy it with your family. use your tool to the best for you and your family
