Has anyone visited this temporary location? Going to the Lego Store is one of my son's favorite things to do at WDW, but with it being renovated, I'm not sure if it's worth our time to go to Downtown Disney if this new location is not very impressive. I'd love to get some feedback from y'all!

Thanks in advance!

I would not say it is impressive(It is bright yellow), but we walked in and walk right back out. They have the Lego Woody in the corner, but the rest of the small space was just "store". Not much to look at.

Do they have the race track set up anywhere like they did at the regular store, where you can build a car and race it down a track? My son loved this.

All they have is a GIANT yellow tent. Inside there are a few displays, and the Woody statue but that's it. It is mostly just a giant storeroom where you can get legos. Also right now the building tends to be a little warm in the day and cold in the evening.

As a warning the store can get PACKED. I've been in a couple of times where I've wondered aloud to my wife if there is a maximum occupancy designated by the Fire Marshal because I'm sure they exceeded it. It's been so bad that you have to walk in they shuffle slowly past all the displays following the crowd just to get to where you want to go.

But still, it's Lego and I love it!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I had a feeling it would probably be lots of shelves with Legos we can get at home.
Anybody know if you can still make a minifigure? My son said that was something he'd always wanted to do.

did they have that pick a brick anywhere? my kids have saved there things to fill for disney. If it is not in the tent we will take them this weekend to the mall to fill them

From what I hear they do. It gets very crowded though. We just did it last week at our local mall, the kids do love it!!

Yes, the minifigure table is there.
